Is that a mod cause that is gorgeous. Also just saying is crysis more cpu or gpu intensive cause i have overclocked to the max possible on my system with a athlon 64 x2 4600 and gtx 460 and the max i get is 40 and average is around 20-25fps
@RyviusRan Yah i run either on no a&a or on 16xQaa which doesn't react too badly only in some cases and YES i was thinking on getting the same cpu the Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition. Also if ill be able to afford it theres a great msi motherboard that supports 3 way sli on AMD but ill probably only need one or two.
@RyviusRan of course i cant afford those kinds of solutions. I have no clue why you would need 3, 4 or 5 cards like the 580 or 5970 in sli or crossfire. I have never seen an application that uses that much power. The only thing that uses that much power are simulations on large scale like universal mappings. So yah is that a mod?
If I get this pc what video card would you recommend

@attilagenius94 It's more GPU intensive but for stronger GPUs you need a better CPU for your GPU to perform it's best.
An Athlon x2 4600 is too weak for a GTX 460 to run at it's best.
Upgrade to a AMD Phenom II x4 CPU would increase frame rate.
But it also depends on the resolution you run it at and by max do you also mean 16xQAA?

@attilagenius94 I wouldn't go for more than 2 way sli.
Even powerful CPUs will sometimes bottleneck cards in 3 way sli especially if those cards are very high end like the GTX 580.

@attilagenius94 It's a custom map.

@RyviusRan oh ok, thanks.

Beautiful. I was fearful that my new 4850 1gb I'll be getting in would be bottlenecked by the cpu, I dont think so now :D
