This video is beautiful because it is a stark and clear embodiment of justice in action. I can think of no more fitting punishment for writing as badly as Stephenson does than to be forced to read it aloud for public broadcast.

Moronic and ill-informed. How much of his stuff have you actually read? Stephenson's writing (particularly the Baroque Cycle) is clever, witty, consistent and often profound. I suspect that you, on the other hand, possess none of these qualities. Except that maybe, you can be consistently annoying.

Stephenson pronounces "Orolo" with the stress on the first syllable instead of the second.

I have waited a long time to see Neal in the flesh. He doesn't seem to get out much so this is a special treat for me.

Science diction fiction...creative writing, less interesting reading...especially all the strange terminology. I assume that the audience was familiar with the reader. They were very responsive.
