  • @wlhunyclubYeah your Right ive been passing nice birds waiting for that Right one

  • Here in Brazil to have any gun is a crime.

  • They r all jakes I would of passed them up

  • @j2m1d3 its better than no turkey at all

  • Congrats on your first turkey. I can't wait until my season's start. Check back in two months to see if I am able to add 2011 turkey hunt videos. I will also try to film a hunt in Nebraska with a crossbow

  • What I want to see is somebody using a gobbler guilotine to take down an ostrich... That would be ROFL

  • That'll teach'em not to come around the camoflauge box!

  • When have you found is the best time of the year to hunt the gobblers? I am wanting to get into the sport and want to get a little information.

  • @jtschid0910 Thanks for the comment. Springtime is the most exciting time IMO. Having the Toms gobble and strut can really get your blood going. Your state DNR may offer classes, turkey magazines and DVD's can be a source of info. But remember, those Toms always find a way to break your heart and frustrate you so don't give up.

  • sweet

  • guillotine powa !!!!!!!!!!

  • That bird never knew what hit him!!! That is the way you kill a turkey!!! He never even flinched!!!

  • ha! right in the beaner! sweet!

  • The only set back is the limited range, but i guess you have to get them in close if your gonna take them a bow...

  • damn that was a nice shot man congrats

  • nice shot!!! i need to get those. what kind of bow were you using?

  • why stop shooting wth just one turkey, the rest is still in range of your gun..

  • i am in PA and on the first day i swear we had 50 turkeys around us roosting in pine trees and on the ground. could'nt get a shot because they circled up around a hill and came behind us.

  • i got 2

  • you should come to canada i had 30 birds in front of me opening day.

  • I hope you got one. My season starts mid-May so I hope to have more footage soon. So check back in a few weeks.

  • canada dont have shit to what U.S. turkey population has

  • hey how did u bring all those turkey in

of course u prolly have more experience than me but i went hunting with a shotgun and only saw 2 turkeys in 3 days

  • thanks for the comment.

I am on only 5 acres at this place. The critical item is I know where they want to travel. There are homes directly behind me and there is a lake 50 to 60 yards in front of me so the turkeys are in a funnel situation and they walk right past my blind.

I also was using two decoys, one hen that I can move with a string attached to her and a mating pair that is just off to the side. These young jakes thought they might get lucky. Only one was unlucky. LOL

  • yea it does matter if they are really spooked noise will make a difference, the turkeys could move or 'duck" the shot. Noise also tells a lot about a bow, noise is vibration so that means the shooter is taking a lot of vibration in the shooters hand and elbow.

  • PSE novas are old and they are loud.. no effence.

  • doesnt really matter after he gets his shot in anyway

  • why is your bow so load? What kind of set up do you have?

  • I shoot a PSE nova.

Maybe it is so loud because I am shooting right over the mic,

  • Nice shot! Now with 4" Guillotine broad head. Do you aim for the head or the body?

  • This broadhead is designed for only head shots.

The distance was about 8 yards.

Thanks for the comment and I hope to have more turkey action this spring

  • Oh ok. Well you deff had a nice hot stop there where they walk up. I'm am going to try some bow hunting this spring. You can check out my vids though if you like. You might like them.

  • nice shot bro

    send another vid to see

    good job...

  • Have you seen the "2006 wisconsin turkey hunt"This is a shhotgun hunt

  • i bet the broadhead hit the three also

    did u broke it?

  • Thanks for the comment.

the arrow actually was defected to the left side of that path the turkeys walked up. you can see the arrow almost hit the back turkey on the left side, easier on my computer to see that. it took me awhile to the arrow. i had to review the video several times to see the deflection.

I was using the 4" guillotine broadhead. One of the 4 blades broke off. One blade was bent.

  • Great video, What kind of camera do you use?

Members on (Neck of the woods outdoors) would enjoy your clips. Please post with us. Thanks Steve

  • Thanks Steve,

I used a sony camcorder. Nothing fancy. I had a better copy but the size was too large for Youtube to accept. Thanks for the website, Neck of the woods. I will sbmit there also and maybe submit for the upcoming contest.
