excellent presentation. the only thing omitted was the actual mounting of of the bag on your back + how easily it slips off, access to your gear while the bag is strapped on, etc..can't seem to find this insight on this bag anywhere
Another great thing about this bag is its physical dimensions. I have traveled with the Vertex 200 a lot and have never been required to check it. Without a laptop it even fits under plane seats.

You forgot to mention the cover that you can pull out to hide/protect/cover all the straps on the back. Comes in handy when you DO have to check in the back and you don't want the straps to get stuck on some conveyor belt. Or simply if you are using the pack as a "handbag" for some time and you don't want to use the straps. When 'hidden', you can't trip on the annoying straps either.
@MIkeness101 I don't know the exact specifications, but I've taken this on a good number of flights and never had to check it in, always carry on. Although security does like to go through it quite a bit usually.. :P
You use nikon, you are a moron

What do you think of Pelican cases?

@ajwtub They're awesome. But we prefer to use them for shipping since they're somewhat cumbersome, but yeah, love 'em.

would this bag fit a 200-400 f.4 lens
hei1314hk 9 months ago
@hei1314hk I think it would, but I'm not sure how much else you could fit in it hehe
2dphotography 8 months ago
@hei1314hk No, it won't fit 200-400 f4 lens. 600AW might fit but I can't promise that.

@kwebbel Woah I never thought of that! Thanks for the tip.

@kwebbel unfortunately that works only for the Lowepro Vertex 300 AW, not for the 100 and 20
