  • Dude my reds and spit fires used to spin at least a minute. Screw the ninjas. I'm putting my spit fire bearings in my pedals

  • Demon Drive or DW 9000? Please provide a detailed and educated reason on which one is better.

  • the left guy does not have a hell of a clue what the one on the right is talking about. For safety he just nods his head :D

  • Like bones bearings are even necessary, ninja is good enough and smooth enough.

  • terrible pedals

  • @Discreetarcher3 theyre awesome what are you talking about?

  • does people really want a pedal that changes from longboard to shortboard or they just didnt know what new features to add to get the axiss customers?

  • leonardo davinci´s pedal design

  • Pearl, make a demon drive hi hat stand, then we'll talk

  • @ 1:50 : WAABEL WAABEL SCHWAABEL SCHWAABEL

  • the ninja bearings are in a longboard wheel. making the wheel spin longer. but still amazing pedals.

  • I rather play with the Pearl Eliminator P2002 !

  • buddy rich & neil peart where producing incredible drumming before all this b/s. its the person not the equipment....

  • @brw9284

agreed. people with weak legs and no experience think that they will become derek roddy by spending $700 on a pedal..... practice people!!! lol

  • What i find funny about this is, that both the top rated comments for this video have spelling mistakes in them

  • The Guy at the left has no idea about demon drive

  • i want a peal sooo baddly

  • someone seems to be playing two weeks by all that remains =D

  • put some bones swiss ceramics up in that bitch

  • I think i'd rather try out some Speed Cobra's before these.

  • they ought to put Bones berrings in there.

  • @severedin2 bones swiss ceramic baby

  • @nonotreally2 o hell yeah man

  • @severedin2 I've done something like that before like in the past when I was using the cheap pedals. Haha

  • @XXXXXEmoXGothX92 im serious for 600 fuckin dollars those better be the best bearings around you know.

  • @severedin2 Hehe I bet, but yea, and it's funny that skateboard bearings fit in them and it's freakin' awesome.

  • @XXXXXEmoXGothX92 o teah i mean i really love the idea man but my problem is i dont know anybody who still rides with ninja bearings tho thats what im saying.

  • @severedin2 I've never heard of ninja bearing before. But yea, haha.

  • @severedin2 Bones Ceramic Swiss bearings for the fucking win

  • @TeoZMuff313 im with you 100%

  • @severedin2 I have Bones Swiss Bearings On my Enjoi deck, and I agree. that would be absolutely crazy

  • im not sure what to choose now... i had a go on an Axis the other day. wasn't too fussed with it to be honest. my friends trick isn't much of a looker but its fantastic! just cant find any trick pedals near me.

Just need to find a store that has a demon drive to try it out before i decide...

  • @LordNeb do not buy this pedal its balls dude down the hall has them in my jamspace and has been trying to trade me 100$ plus these for my dw9000's for months ive played them many times along with axis n the axis pedals are much better compared to these

  • @seanshallperish

cheers for the heads up. i had my eye on a dw 9000 before. I play with a dw 5002 at the moment and i do really like it.

  • i still think the dw 9000 feels better

  • trick owns pearl and axis!

  • Axis is WAY better, Faster, Versatile and better!

  • Tried these out for about a month.... didn't really like them. If you change the horribly awkward beater, it makes more a nice (if overly priced) direct drive, but... there's no comparison to the Mapex Falcons. In my personal opinion, anyway.

  • The Eliminator 2000 basspedals are excellent too! I play one since years and I still love the smooth of the Pearl Eliminator hardware

  • Youd want axis i think im not an ecpert but this is new and might have many flaws

  • @cdsback Fail Comment.

  • @cdsback Fail Comment.

  • @cdsback Fail Comment.

  • they tightened the left wheel...... wow

  • Yes im deciding between Axis longboards and pearl demon drive. Anyone put imput on that subject plz?!?!?!?

  • what is better axis longboards or pearl demon drive???

  • @kyriacos93 It's completely up to personal preference, the Axis pedals hold the world record for speed, although pearls are a lot more adjustable to fit an individuals preferences

  • Christ...no one cares what you "think is better." What ever pedal is the most comfortable and responsive to you and your music, use them. I previously owned the Iron Cobras and they were great. I purchased these pedals and they feel much more comfortable for me and a lot quicker for my style.

  • I've been watching videos where people are playing blindingly fast. if you weren't satisfied, then maybe your Iron Cobra (which has no customization) has made your muscle memory unfamiliar with something you haven't experienced. I mean, with all the extra muscle needed to push and control an Iron cobra, it's no wonder something fast throws you off balance.

  • @JackRazmatazz That's extremely true. Kinda sucks. Almost like you have to place your toes at the back of the pedal in the beginning to get used to it, haha.

  • For fuck sakes, i hate how pearl claims those pedals to be the "fastest" when in fact Axis Longboards are capable of much more for speed.

  • MINE

  • A skateboard wheel as a bassdrum beater.. brilliant!

  • This is too overpriced , if you get a set of iron cobras, it will be much cheaper and i think much better

  • Stick with axis or pearl eliminators dont buy this peice of shit

  • I'd rather get a Speed Cobra. These look like a nugget of fecal matter.

  • i tried these out at samash and sucked ass

  • @killyofool

Same here bro. I can't stand these things.

  • @killyofool

    And way too over priced

  • pearl metal always breaks on me, and also they should use swiss bearings and not ninja hehe

  • hello graduation gift!

  • they had the right idea. did a terrible job of putting them together. A-21's for the win xD

  • the thing that makes this pedal is this and thad and blah blah blah xD

  • how much is this???

  • @cyruslim123 alot... the first one I saw for sale was like $600

  • This is a great pedal. I have one. The only thing that I think is kinda bull, is they keep talking about "ninja" bearings as though other pedals have slow bearings. come on! If you think bearings are slowing you down then you are dillusional. None of the bearings even do a full circle when you play them.

  • @jordanjcm ahhh but kids that are spoiled and their parents buy them anything dont know that

  • And don't you worry about it buddy boy

  • Cause I am buddy LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • I play my foot perfectly straight all the time. But I'm a great drummer.

  • @Johnnytwain1 If you have to go around telling people how great you are, Chances are you suck.

  • I love the fact that it can turn into a longboard. But I'll stick with my Trick Bigfoots

  • how much cost?

  • @MakTheSank 700.00

  • your post makes no fucking sense, how can it be more powerful?

And again until you have both of them tuned to max responsiveness and have them side by side, you won't be able to tell, even then you won't be able to play fast enough to tell.

Also you can switch the Demon drive to a long or short board for responsiveness. until you can give me a reason, you're an idiot!

Especially for saying the Demon drives are *not* responsive!

    You clearly are a retard.

  • i tried these out and they are really no where as powerful responsive as the tama speed cobra

  • @drummer9042 You do realize that the Speed Cobras are chained, where these are not. Also you can adjust the responsiveness by the spring to the right of the pedal. . .

And your sentence did not make sense, so I am going to assume you do not know what you are talking about . . .

  • @NUProductions4Music the demon drives are not powerful or responsive as the speed cobras and yea i know that their chained but they are still faster and more responsive and powerful than the demon drives

  • @NUProductions4Music Also the speed cobras look very cheaply built.

  • @spikeman23 they can look like shit for all i care, how about you try them before you say anything. Of you new anything about a pedal, you wouldn't say something so stupid!

  • @NUProductions4Music How about you shut the fuck up son? I would try them and most likely wouldn't buy them anyway. Theres a little thing called personal preference. There was no need for you to get your panties in a bunch just because i said they look cheaply made. I could have said something like oh they fucking suck without having played them.

  • @NUProductions4Music Well troll, A. seems like your panties are in a bunch, look at the reply you gave me, did i piss you off?

Anyway, what did you expect me to say, i say some other brand drum pedal, and you say, they look cheaply built. . .

And again, looks shouldn't mean shit. So even if they were the best pedals you have ever played, you wouldn't buy them? Hmm, you're not biased!

  • @spikeman23 I own a double version of the Speed cobra, and i cannot agree with you: is solid like i never saw before and it feels bullet proof.

Just because is shini polished does not mean is a piece of junk :)

  • Fuck google and there fucking advertisements!

  • Fuck youtube and there fucking advertisements!

  • dont get why they didnt use bones ceramics in there.

  • TAMA IRON COBRA IS THE ANSWER.............demon drive eliminated

  • @fr3dz0n You wish lol.

  • @fr3dz0n You clearly are retarded.

  • @fr3dz0n Iron cobras aren't that great, And this is coming from an iron cobra owner.

  • holy shit, longboard on it! i need itt! lol

  • It runs $600 at Guitar Center. I like it. But it's not worth 6 bills, that's what I paid for my Toyota 5 years ago and I use my car everyday.

  • @CherryONeil I use my pedals all day everyday lmao. but then again im a freshman in high school....

  • Threse are the gayest pedals in the world,i was thinking of buying them at guita center, and i tried them out....that day i walked out with an iron cobra pedal...

  • it doesn't matter if have a top pedal or don't. If you don't know how to use it, it turns like a normal one

  • Pearl lol. What a fucking joke. TAMA ALL THE FUCKING WAY!

  • @SpasticSquirrels TAMA BLOWS

  • @niRvaNa11792 what?

Give me some of what your having

  • Peal FTW

  • I like how the trumpet cuts through all of the drums and talking at 1:35 lol.

  • im a skateboarder and ninja bearings are basically 20 buck crappy bearings. not that big of a deal

  • @IronCobraKid lol imagine puting some bone swiss in that haha.

  • axis :/

  • I've never seen a "PEAL" Eliminator Demon Drive pedal before. I thought it was only Pearl that made those...

  • You can't call a pedal the best, it dependes what suits the drummer

  • I tried these and sent them back the day after. I've been playing DW 9000's and they feel much more comfortable

  • ive heard good things about tma, ludig and sonr...but peal just beats them all

  • biggest waste of money, iron cobra all the way

  • I've heard they are pretty nice, but they don't have a whole lot of power behind them. I've played on a demo set, but not very much...Ive also heard that axis is about the same though...speed but no power...i don't know though...

  • i want a Peal pedal =D

  • sometimes too smooth can over control your feet, thus rendering hard to control it.. unless ur use to it.. i suggest every drummer to test every single double pedal out there to get the right taste

  • Comment removed

  • i dont trust this pedal, too many adjustments=too many things that can go wrong

  • i doubt this pedals...i havent seen any drummer play as fast as axis just on single strokes for a long time

  • @omegasdoom thts wat i thout too... before i played them. dont judge them till u play then man. they are sick as holy hell. trust me.

  • i put bones swiss bearing in my dw 5000. made the difference in night and day.

  • @whophead007 Where did you get them?

  • @PabloJ1968 they're skate board bearing you can order them from a famous skateboard shop website 'ccs'

  • @whophead007 Any special size for the dw 5000?. Thanx!

  • @PabloJ1968 it's all the same standard size.

  • I think the new Tama Speed Cobra is gonna blow this thing away! and is about $250 bucks cheaper

  • I love these pedals.

  • lmfao the guy on the left doesn't have a clueee about anything

  • put destructo japanese bearings on it it wil just go crazy

  • Nice pedal... though no Mapex Falcon...

  • demon drives are great but you need to change the beaters.

  • @thispagesux totally agree you have to change the beaters for a better feel

  • pearl eliminator does something like short- and longboard, but both as splitboard

  • drool

  • Axis Long Boards, for the clownfoot player :D

  • bones bearings

  • lol peal. awesome pedal tho!

  • DW 9000 smokes them ALL....nothing beats it...keep trying Pearl

  • @reditreefrogs iron cobras are the best thank you very much

  • @Morningstardrummer If that's what you like that's fine...This was how I decided on DW-9000 pedals for my two bass drums...

Guitar center let me try out a pair of each pedal they had in their store. I rounded my choice to three brands...Axis long boards, tamma iron cobras and dw-9000...

Hands down the dw-9000 were what I wanted and in my hands when I purchased them...my own preferance.

  • Suck it TAMA.

    Pearl players FTW.

  • hahahaha 0:15 Peal **Pearl

  • the best pedal in the world...... cause we hired trick to make them for us

  • woot i played with those pedals :D

  • man i wish i had the 600$ to pay for them all i got is these piece of shit pdp double bass pedals

  • i have looked into both axis and these pedals for a while now, and i'm really happy i went with axis. Sure i guess it is what ever really floats your boat, but axis had this design first.

  • @MetalheadMr666 axis pedals arent run through a bearing there direct drive...so no they didnt

  • DUDE I WANT ONE!!! TOO BAD I HAVE NO MONEY!! hahaha

  • I am sold on this lol. Good advertising pearl.

  • exelente

  • put some bones swiss up in that bitch, see how fast it goes then:D

  • @badbrains666 i was ggoing to do that with my pedals

  • @badbrains666 i know right? i was thinking, shit its been years since i stopped skating but i dont remember ninjas being very good.

  • @badbrains666 haha

  • @badbrains666 do u rekon u culd with no problems??

  • @badbrains666 or bones Reds

  • @badbrains666 Exactly what I said. Ninja bearings? Which ones? Probably abec 3.

  • @badbrains666 More like put some fucking Shakejunts up in that bitch. THEN see how fast it goes

  • @badbrains666 lol I remember those and german speed bearings what ever happend to those?

  • if you were an extreme drummer, and wanted to kick really fast, and bought these over axis (who made these pedals and pearl copied)...my huge respect for you would be long gone

  • wanna be half ass Axis pedals. GAY!

  • So I guess Tricks are Axis wanna be's too? Just cause Pearl tried something new doesn't mean it's a rip of something else.

  • Idk. I've used the Demon Drives before, but I really didn't like them. I like a pedal you have to kinda force to do what you want (I have Iron Cobras and absolutely love them). The Demon Drives are just too smooth, and the foot plate sticks to your foot too much. Idk. Just with my personal preference, I don't like it.

  • can someone tell me how to get the left foot pedal to stop from moving?

it annoys the hell outta me

  • Ninja bearings

    lol

  • I still like Axis better, dont know why, the new pearl should be better, i just don't like them -.- haha wellwell

  • Should use Bones Swiss brearings. Nija's are awesome too. I LOVE THIS PEDAL! I've played it before and it's sweet!

  • that pedal is killer

  • ninja barrings are awesome

  • these are gr8 but if ur used o playing a chain drive (I play a DW 900) its onna take you some time to get used to the demin drive, especially the double

  • GEORGE KOLLIAS IN A PEDAL

  • I might get this for Christmas.I want the double bass so bad!!!

  • i hate these, dont get me wrong they are very well manufactured and i can see how some drummers would like them, but they have made them so dam smooth that theres no weight and no power, and cuz theres no weight to make them roll with the spring you always have to put shit loads of effort into it. its annoying, iron cobras and axis for the win

  • I think just like you. Can you recommend a bass drum pedal?

  • erm well it depends on how much your willing to spend. i have an iron cobra rolling glide double pedal which cost me £250 but i love them. however the best pedals ive ever used were the DW 9000's but they cost around £500 so i cant afford them. ive heard good things about them axis ones aswel :)

  • "good" is a bit too bad.they are FUkING GREAT

  • @garfunkel1234 axis long boards

  • i got a power glide lol want a rolling glide don't reall know the difference all i know is my pedal is getting a lil old bout 3-4 now and want something newer lol

  • Looks just liek the shitty axis pedal this maybe smooth but it dont have power like the proper pedals

  • ive tryed these and the feel of them is almost weight less if i had the money id buy the double pedal

  • can anybody tell me if the ''longboard'' thing is actually longboard or semi longboard...????

  • they're really goo but they are soooo fucking expensive as a drummer, I liked them better than axis(just my opinion)

  • Don't worry CharbelSalem the axis longboards are very nice pedals I have a pair of my own and they are amazing you made a good choice
