Pete King speaks out against honoring Michael Jackson

Many people have misinterpreted what Pete King has said and think that hes being racist. Pete King is not being racist at all. After all, the 4th of July should be a time we honor America and those who sacrifice themselves to keep this country in place yet everyone only focuses on Michael Jackson, which is disgraceful. I agree that there has been way too much coverage about the death of Michael Jackson. I will be very glad when the memorial is done and over with. Maybe then they'll back off a bit.

As for him being a pedophile, the child who was allegedly molested by MJ came out and said that he'd been put up to do so by his father, who was hoping to make a quick buck off MJ. While I agree that MJ had some major quirks, I do not believe that he was a child molester.

Thank you Congressman King, I totally agree with you. I feel the glorification of the entertainment world is out of control in this country. MJ needed to be institutionalized along with the rest of his family. It is a shame that there are children involved in all this. Thank you.

However everyone should be reminded that Michael Jackson was found not guilty, yet people continue to refer to him as being guilty. Rep. King called Michael a low life. I can not agree more. Would anyone in their right mind ever leave a child in the company of MJ?
