  • The Vaughan Williams theme is hauntingly lovely and makes one regret that he never finished the concerto. Thanks to David Matthews and Stephen Isserlis for rescuing such a lovely theme and giving it a context in which it can be performed.

  • There is no complete performance currently available. However the concerts are repeated from time to time. I will check if there is one scheduled. Otherwise virtually all the Proms are repeated on Radio 3 over the Christmas Period
