  • May I ask which dash kit do you have? Scosche kit?

  • @keyuyi19 Yes.

  • @VBLUE42 so the unit fits right in to the dash kit or you need extra frame to cover the spaces? thx

  • @keyuyi19 No other parts are needed.

  • @VBLUE42 so does this unit fit right into this dash kit or do you need extra frame to cover the spaces? thank you because I am doing the same set up just wanna make sure

  • How did you get this on this type of civic!?

    A M A Z I N G.

Where did you get it installed?

Want to do this on mine.

    Please let me know.

    Thank You:)

  • @arguetabilly I installed it myself.

  • @VBLUE42 Where did you get the piece to change the whole layout above the A/C?

  • @arguetabilly I bought it online. I don't remember where. Google is your friend though. Search 06-08 civic double din dash kit. Your installer should also be able to get it as well.

  • 2:46 maybe it's too blurry, but it just looks like name and phone number are supplied, not address.

  • @cpkdude Yes, unfortunately while using the VR this unit will not show the house or address number and only shows the street name and phone number if provided. If you are using the touch screen to search for the same info, it will display the house or address number.

  • when you pulled up the POI's, I didn't notice "addresses". Is that true? Just phone numbers? What am I missing?

  • @cpkdude Im sorry I don't understand your question. Reply with a time point in the vid of what you are inquiring about.

  • Yes.

  • is that your own custom background??

  • anyone know if this would fit a 2010 honda accord coupe?

  • yea, i've been going to the pioneer website and its informational but there are certain things that i want to see hands on or from a user like yourself who already has 1, so i've been going to custom sounds because they are 1 of the few car audio stores in my area and they have pioneer and kenwood units, but do they come with any disc at all? and does this have a sd slot? and how many usb ports does this have? which remote do you have and does it have a voice recognition button on it?

  • @kingyak7 No, Yes, 1, I have the CD-R1 remote in conjunction with the PAC WIR-P, Yes. Once again, three of these questions you could have found answers to on the Pioneer site. Please limit your questions to answers that cant be found elsewhere.

  • does this have to have a disc in it to use the nav? a worker at custom sounds was telling me that on pioneer units i would have to have the nav disc in the unit to use the nav and that i couldnt use nav and have a dvd or cd in there at the same time, is that true?

  • @kingyak7 No it does not use a nav DVD. And maybe you should stop talking to Custom Sounds. Clearly they don't know what they are talking about. I mean, do they even sell this unit. Also most of your questions can be answered by going to the Pioneer site and reading up on the unit.

  • so i've been going back in forth with the z110, the x920, and the kenwood dnx9140, and im leaning toward the kenwood, this doesnt come with a remote and has no dual zone, and no garmin. and on the kenwood you can send and recieve text through the bluetooth, the plus to this is that it is very customizable, the msn is cool but it is going to be discontinued soon so other than that tell me what i am missing or why i should choose the pioneer over the kenwood?

    thanks!

  • what does this model have that the x920bt doesnt have? why should i get this model over the x920? or should i?

  • @kingyak7

Its up to you to decide. However a read of a few post down might help you with your answer.

  • Getting this installed in one of my Supras right now. Is there a work-around for watching TV while on the move?

  • How is pandora intergration with Iphone. DO you get a message showing this device is not made for iphone and it wants to go to airplane mode.

  • No.

  • The Z user interface is much better then the DNX and is a lot easier to use and is less frustrating.

  • @VBLUE42 Thanx... I was leaning towards the pioneer anyways but i'm sure now... have you heard much about their AVIC-X920BT? I like the Pandora function but does it work with any phone or iphone only?

  • The Pandora interface of the X is iPhone only. There is also a Z120BT on the horizon that will include the new interface features of the X. 110's will also get the same features with a 120 software upgrade likely released with the first map upgrade this summer. It will not be a free upgrade and will likely cost around 150 dollars.

  • i have a dnx 9140 , i was wondering , i saw your other video with the dnx 9140 , how did u manage to get another nice radio so quickly are u a tester of some sort , or do u just enjoy nice radios and have money to blow. and also can u name the pros and cons of this radio to my dnx9140 and if so tell me how i would be able to get this radio

  • I have comments on this in some of my other Z videos. Please view them for the answers to your questions.

  • I'm having a hard time deciding between the Z110BT and the dnx9140. Why do you think the Z110BT is the better buy? I

  • @txwill20 the dnx is by garmin (thats the plus for that) but the customizable interface is alot better with pioneer, and the voice activation is smoother, easier, and more capable of controlling different settings. Neither of them show many street names, but garmin has a quick rerouting system. the kenwood comes with a remote, this item has a cool app for your iphone called avic feeds that is exclusive to this model the x920 and the f310 series, pioneer is cheaper... but i like the pioneer ..

  • do u need msn direct to get popular POI like starbucks? or can i get to these places without because to me it seems useless esp. with an iphone

  • MSN direct has nothing to do with POI. There are a large number of POI's including Starbucks in the internal database of the unit.

  • Perfect.. these vids are absolutely amazing you actually aided in me in making my decision to purchase mine. cant wait to get it next week. Keep it up!

  • Thank u but the video is not lit up can't press it. Do I need to have a video on my iPhone or iPod just got the radio sorry and thank u.

  • Yes you do need to have at least one video to be able to select the VIDEO button on the iPhone.

  • Hello how do I watch YouTube video on my avic-z110bt I see you wrote on anothers page you been doing it fir a while I tried and it doesn't work and I got the iPod cable for the radio. Thanks

  • Go to your ipod source, hit the video button, select any video from the list, then open the Youtube app on your iPhone.

  • hows the clearance on that? When you switch the CD that is. Can you post up a vid of that?

  • The clearance is fine.

  • where to get it for cheap or wats the price

    help pls

  • Great video thanks

  • Great video, I love the unit and everytime I see your videos it makes me want to get it sooner. Just ne thing, I would like to see how the Navigation works when you are in movement, if you could provide that and make a video on that I would love to see that. Keep up the good work!!!!
