  • I approve of this instrument! (Not that my opinion matters, of course!) Anybody got $4K I can use?

  • Through the guitar rig just gave me goose bumbs, nice!

  • Is this an actual stand alone instrument and does it do midi?

  • @Jungl3Bunny420 it is a stand-alone, electro-mechanical instrument. It has a piezo pickup in each of the string saddles, and a really good preamp. At this time, there is no MIDI option.

  • Where can i get one of these?:D

  • Marcodi's web site is a good place to start. Just type marcodi into your browser. Tim (the creator) and Jason (his partner) are really great guys - they'll be happy to answer any questions you have.

  • Wow, just wow. This instrument makes a beautiful sound.

  • The lady at the very end asks two good questions: how much this toy costs, and where did they take its name from. Too bad we don't get a chance to hear the answers.

  • The name is a play on the words "harp" and "arpeggio." The price, depending on finish and case options, starts at around $4k (expensive, certainly, but not exorbitantly so in the world of custom musical instruments). These answers and more are available on their website. Just type "Marcodi" in your browser or Google it.
