The reason he took overdose of his sleep aid prescriptions can never be known. It may have been suicide, it may have been accident.

I choose to believe he might have been running hard on exhaustion which led him to taking too much, thus causing him to "go to sleep". He was breathing when his massage therapist first came to his room in the morning, but she got worried by getting no response. By the time an ambulance had been called and arrived, he wasn't breathing anymore.

If you look at the dark knight, you'll see that the jokers white makeup is missing on some parts of his face, the black around his eyes aren't rounded circles, and as i said before, the lips are a bit shorter. really cool effort though! i want to go as the joker to a party coming up this year. Do you think you could let me know what you used for the makeup? Would be greatly appreciated!! :-)

It's just normal face paint that you can get from any costume or party store. The REAL icing on the cake would be getting yourself some liquid latex to do the scar make-up. >:D

And you definitely need the purple jacket too. I was Joker for Halloween last year, and as popular as that costume was with so many other folks, I was the ONLY Joker I saw who was wearing purple. :S

As far as make up and clothing is concerned this is probably one of the best ive seen so far but (and i know this always comes up) its the scars that make Heat Ledgers Joker. Without them it just cant be done. You'd probably be better doing your own unique take on 'Classic Joker' but having said that the end result is still pretty awesome.

umm no, you would put baby power for the last touch of your white powder make up, just go to a dollar store. buy it like 2 tubes and do it yourself. I did mine it was so kick ass

sigh....It's like 1994 all over again. While Ledger's Joker is awesome it's already apparent that this Halloween the streets will be hundreds of Joker clones. The same thing happened to Brandon Lee's "The Crow" costume in 94 and it got played out in about an hour.
