Niko is actually a performance alias used by Maurizio de Jorio. Another alias he goes by is "Max Coveri" -- he's used that for many of his songs from the mid-1980s, such as "Bye Bye Baby" and "One More Time". He also went by Max Coveri in an iconic mid-90s entry, "Running in the 90s" (goofs on the Internet will most likely know it as "LOL, internet").
