The one that is 10.5 euros is lower quality stuff, the stuff they are eating is some of the most expensive and high quality the place has to offer.

i just looked on espinaler's website.

it is 120-130 euros a can. for 20 pcs of white clams.

its around 10-50 euros for the smaller cans which contain 6 pcs.

Even a very high quality can of clams etc don't cost 156 euros and that bar where they are it is just a current normal tradional bar in a village so I mean it is not a fancy bar, there go all the locals with ther familie sor friends.

Otherwise all those plain looking villagers inside the restaurants must be all millionaires. It is still pricey tag for a can of seafood at 10.5 and 17.6 euros though. But if the quality is worth it, I'll get some.

@Xentradi97 we were in l'Espinaler late 2009 & I can say for a fact that there are some pretty expensive canned clams in there. A 265gram can of giant white clams retails for 132 euros, they also have 115gram cans of medium white clams which costs around 10euros. Needles to say we opted for the more economical option. Pretty good actually...effing addictive. Now am craving for them .

But the tapas portions of the regular stuff behind the bar are priced around 2-3 Euro each, and I made off with several cans of the regular stuff to bring home for about 50 Euro total.
