  • It doesn't matter what country is involved, someone makes a comment about terrorists on the video...

  • Nice little Greyhound bus ride.

  • You guys have to realize, 9/11 was the reason for this hectic border crap. You know the pilots went through Canadian airlines right?

  • @CamericaUSA ya i remember tht i live in a town that has the largest military base in Canada and it was crazy during tht time

  • @1988scottcarey I live in Thunder Bay, Ontario, CANADA...you fucking idiot.

  • @CamericaUSA You say that like i give a fuck..

  • @1988scottcarey You obviously did when you said I was American....9/11 conspiracy? Prove it.

  • @CamericaUSA No, they didn't. All of the terrororists entered the United States directly after clearing US immigration checks and being issued student visas to study in the United States as airline pilots. They were not affiliated with any airlines in any country. In short, US immigration dropped the ball completely, we had nothing to do with it.

  • @webstermr terrorists are either hired by the government, and the whole war on terror is a scam its just to make ou believe they are protecting you from somethign that aint there to strip your rights and freedoms..lol haha terrorist are paid agents fo the government

  • @CamericaUSA You're an idiot, as @webstermr said - Canada had nothing to do with it

  • @RazorCell7 And you are a moron!

  • @CamericaUSA Learn English dipshit, the irony is you are calling me a moron yet you start your sentence with "And" not to mention you make up bullshit facts just to be proven wrong on youtube and have nothing to show for it. Yeah I'm the moron alright lol!

  • * This is why I love the EU <3 Drove from France into Germany, they just have a sign that says "Willkommen in Deutschland" from Germany into Switzerland, they have border guards but because our car has a UK reg they pretty much waved us through... All part of the Schengen travel zone <3

  • @604Ronnie The Canadian officer asked me where i do live in US. I said "Indianapolis, INDIANA". He was like "never heard of it..." and told us to go in side. The lady who inspected the truck broke our laptop. We couldn't even complain about that. It was Sumas Border

  • At least get it right you are not going being checked by Canadian Customs to go to the US but in fact by the US Customs...geez.

  • They hassle you like crazy at the Canada/US border, meanwhile there are huge gaps at the US/Mexico border. A peaceful country to the north and a country with problems with violence and drug cartels to the south. Forget about the northern border, move all the resources to the southern border.

  • I went to Montreal for my brothers wedding 30 years ago. Canada customs waved us thru. US Customs opened the trunk and searched bags car etc. I was with my GRANDPARENTS. bet they fit the smuggler profile. went to Quebec City last year with the same brother, some hot chicks working the border there. agent that hadn't shaved in a week asked us questions for a couple minutes then sent us on our way. from Montreal at 2AM. stopped at the duty free for some booze and didn't take 15 seconds to get in

  • Fuck canada and usa, stinky nigger wholes.

  • @sask523 dumbass...learn to spell. Or do they have books where you live. fucking mudeater.

  • @shoegooguru

go muffdiving in your moms cunt

  • @sask523 at least I have a Mom, instead of being the diahrea blast that you are. I 'd bet the hole you shot out of is still dirty. keep it up...I'll own you again and again. you must be 12 years old.

  • @shoegooguru

say hy to your daddy,i met him in a gay bar 2 days ago,he was dancing like crazy with a man, after the dance they left........hahahaahah

  • @sask523 You are a sad little man

  • im pretty sure boarder patrols are jerk offs anywhere you go. they are trained to be

  • @604Ronnie

talking about biggest jerkoffs? try the immigration officers at Toronto's Pearson Airport!

  • If you think about going greyhound think again, Greyhound buses, they treat you like Prisoners, its like being locked up in a Jail, the bus stinks the lavatory is massy, and the seats are not as confortable as they are on Amtrak trains and Southwest Airlines. If you plan to travel I strongly recomend you drive your self, take a Train, or fly on commercial plane

  • I've crossed that "Peace Arch" border a fair few times.

I used the Amtrak bus mostly...to connect with the train in Seattle, to travel onward to San Fran.) and also car.

U.S. borders always made me nervous...and I am not a criminal, drug dealer, ...anything like that.

Canadians were generally "snooty" but not aggressive.

Found it Interesting - Canadian border guards sit in their little "booth" at the border.

Americans walk up, and around the vehicle...show's a lot about attitude differences.

  • @DingisMcGee

if ur in a bus do the us patrol ask ur name and ask u questions alone or wat?

  • @wfo76 youre friend sounds like she was retarded

  • Okay so I live in Ann Arbor, MI and my 10th grade class are going to Canada for a trip. When we take everything with us will they search our bags because since we are going camping I am bringing my Swiss army knife and survival knife and I do not want those taken away form me. If anybody could answer as soon as possible because my class is leaving tomorrow morning. We will be entering the Detroit-Windsor bridge border just to let you know if different borders have different rules. Thanks!

  • we get the same thing here on are side by US boarder guards..

  • if you're divorced, would they ask a letter of approval from the other parent?

  • Entering canada is fucking impossible. on the other hand, entering america is like "do you have any bad shit"then "no" and BAM border crossed.

  • @Fugga21

LOL..tell that to a Canadian...border guards on BOTH sides of the border are redneck dicks.

  • some parts do of boarder control in the US is not bad.

  • All this business about not being allowed into Canada with a felony or misdemeanor record is complete crap. I have 2 felonies and have been to prison here is the States. I have entered Canada 3 times in the past 4 years. Once on a cruise ship, and 2 times on the train from Seattle to Vancouver. The only time I was ever even questioned was leaving Canada and entering the the States on the bus from vancouver to Seattle. Canadian immigration never questioned me at all.

  • "cause now you are in America and the bus is still in Canada." The bus has just entered America too, it just needs to be inspected. The American inspections here happen on American soil, just like Canadian inspections here happen on Canadian soil. So you're just a few feet (or metres) into the country that's doing the inspecting.

  • Im going to be travelling on a greyhound bus for about 5 hours for the first time. Im a 15 year old girl, will it be safe for me?

  • haha the driver sounds fuckin stoned.

  • We are going to go to New York for a week this may!! I can't wait :)

  • @lolasorocks10 We look forward to having you! Enjoy your time in the Empire State. I'm planning my trip to Canada and look forward to it too.

  • I might be traveling to Canada via Greyhound this summer. Can I just get a passport card? Oh, and I don't have any misdemeanors or anything, so am I okay to go? Oh! And I'll be fifteen at the time (On both trips) so will I need anything in particular? Like, a note from my parents?

  • I entered the USA on a greyhound bus from Vancouver, and everything was quite easy and simple. Just follow the instructions, and in within 30 min the bus is ready to hit the road again.

  • The driver sounded abit slow... Is this what I would be doing if i'm entering Canada by Greyhound Bus... Fuck that... That sounds too confusing... I'd rather wait 15 hours in JFK for a flight to Toronto... Plus I heard it's 22 hrs prox with Limited bus stops...

And you can't walk towards the bus.. The bus has to come towards you... Just take one step back in canadian soil.. you have half the FBI and CIA on your ass

  • is it true canadian border patrol is anal about misdemeanors on your records and won't let you in?

  • yes it is very true

  • @ JoeDaPlumber - as they should be !

  • @JoeDaPlumber The best thing to do is get the matter expunged from your record, failing that, you would need to get a pardon from Canada depending on what the issue is.

  • @JoeDaPlumber you could probably cross somewheres illegally through some forests and hitch hick to where you want to go canadas like that only 34 million people in my huge country and people are spread out.people leave their doors open at night and neighbours walk in instead of knocking.

  • @JoeDaPlumber

DUI is considered an indictable and you need to wait 10 years. If you got 2 summaries it's 5

  • @sliq1 ooh ok thanks. Do you know if its also true that the Mounties basically empty your car? They search for contraband all throughout and even review whats on your computer? I have heard horror stories about Canada.

  • @JoeDaPlumber - mounties don't empty your car it's the CBSA that does it (but not all, very random) if they suspect you're hiding something they have all the power in the world to search your vehicle and even frisk you. At the airport if you get caught with one joint, they do a strip search...it's not pleasant (my buddy's a border services officer at the airport)

  • @JoeDaPlumber

They're not anal... they're keeping people with criminal pasts out of Canada.

  • @saozita12 Ok, strict then. But I do think anal is the correct word here. My gf shoplifted and had a DUI but she is going with me (a clean citizen), meaning that if she steals something I'll kick her ass and she isn't going to drive. They are preventing me from spending money in Canada. They're scaring investment. I spend a lot of money on my winter vacations.

  • @saozita12

I was just passing through Canada. I'm an American who was living in Britain for a few years so when I returned to America, I didn't quite had the funds to fly into my hometown of Pittsburgh. Instead I flew into Toronto Canada because it was cheaper.

My dad was there waiting to pick me up. Da,mn, that pissed the Canadian's off.

They kept me in border patrol for 9 hrs thinking I was up to no good.

I just landed in Canada so I could meet my dad to cross back in USA.

  • @TheMartian20

Yes, in this day & age that is suspicious; but I don't think it would warrant 9 hours of detainment unless there was more to it... maybe a criminal past?? It doesn't need to be much, anything can detain you. I don't believe you're telling the whole story. And you have to keep in mind, too, that in Canada we're used to people crossing the border State-side for people to fly out because it's cheaper; I don't think I've ever heard of it being cheaper vice versa.

  • @saozita12

No I'm telling the whole story. They didn't detain me. They just had me wait that long.

They had other people to interview you know.

The reason they thought I was suspicious because I lived in Britain for 3 years, and had not been back for 3 years. I didn't have any criminal history.

They just wanted to make sure I was telling the right story.

The Flight out of Edinburgh Scotland was Cheaper to Toronoto at that time.

So they eventually sent me on my way, but it was scary

  • @TheMartian20

OH OK! I'm sorry!! I mistook your "mood" as though you were terribly angered by the whole thing and they were "holding you". It does make sense... as annoying as it may be. Your return after such a long absence could be questionable under the "right" circumstances and they do what they have to do, so to speak. Like I said before, in this day & age they try not to be too careful. Canada took a lot of heat from the ignorant post 9-11. A lot of Americans blame Canada for it.

  • @saozita12

I wasn't arrested in Canada. It was 9 hrs. From landing, getting off the plane, going to customs, looking at my passport, you know the deal.

So rather I was in airport for 9 hrs in total if that clarifies matters.

Yes I was brought to immigration on that day. They didn't believe my story at first.

I guess I shouldn't have said I flew to Canada because it was cheaper. That made them suspicious, but I was telling the truth.

In the end, they were nice and sent me on my way.

  • @TheMartian20

I'm glad you're not "bent" about it. I wish all travellers thought that way. I tell everyone I know, so long as you're honest, you should not have any problems. Whether it be about what you're declaring or reasons for travelling, the more honest you are, the easier they are with you. In a way I am curious as to why they found that suspicious; but again, we're used to people going State-side to fly out from there because it's cheaper. But that could be it.

  • @saozita12

They could have thought many things.

Maybe they thought I was a fugitive from America.

Maybe they thought I was an American fugitive escaping British detainment.

Who knows, but in the end I got my maple syrup and met my dad.

  • @saozita12

Well the Canadian Immigration kinda explained it to me. My final destination was Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, but on my bording pass it said from Edinburgh Scotland to Toronto Canada as final destination.

I told them, my dad was in Toronto and would drive me back to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.

They found this peculiar and just could not take my word for it.

But I think a few phone calls really clarified the situation.

At least I got to go home. lol

  • @TheMartian20

It could have been worse. Think about it... your luggage could have been lost, too... lol.

  • @JoeDaPlumber lol?>

  • @JoeDaPlumber I thought it was Americans who were the anal ones? oopps Now I mentioned Americans, they're all gona start now

  • @JoeDaPlumber Yes, that's true. They also won't let anyone in the country who is a person of color, poor, or handicapped. They're fascist faggots who want to fondle and anally probe you. They're basically just creepy pigs on power trips.

  • @JoeDaPlumber Yes, they are "anal" about it as US border guards are. If you have any criminal record at all - aside from a few offences such as impaired driving - you will not be allowed to enter Canada as an American or enter the United States as a Canadian.

  • Are they very gestapo like and rude to crossers?

  • oh sorry! it was crossing at Blaine Washington

  • @jamaicasky The Canadian Boarder police there are GRADE A FUCKING ASSHOLES I Never had a worse experience with the canadian fucks like I did at Blaine. But so to speak the Niagara Falls/Buffalo Rainbow Bridge boarder the USA Boarder is also known for their bullshit there. I travel a lot.

  • It was the bus bound to the United States but I don't know to what state and what city.
