If it was being treated poorly and was chained up in that spot all day, it would be more than aggressive towards the person video taping it during this video. Also, Tibetan Mastiffs are among the most expensive dogs on this earth. In China they are considered a symbol of great wealth. So to chain one up for abusive purposes is less than unheard of. This is simply a video of a well groomed tibetan mastiff.

If they drink or eat a lot and exercise heavily , their stomach can actually overturn and almost certainly bring them to their death . They must be fed at a certain time and wait an hour , then play , rest for a hour or so then eat .

@veteransarg5 I will agree to a point, but there is some mastiff in this dog and on that point you have to agree. I have a mastiff mix with american white bulldog and she is huge.
First of all this dog should never be put on a chain as short as that....even if its for a video. And second of all, go do some research before you start making claims. This is a Tibetan Mastiff all the way, Maybe you should go pay attention at those dog shows a little more, I personally know people who breed these dogs and that is definetly a tibetan mastiff.

@MissCedarbridge1 Mine are street mutts..mutts are healthier anyway, you probably just dont know how to train a dog. or keep it locked in your house all day and dont give it enough exercise like most people.

@5tonyvvvv if you own a street mutt then its kool and as for me training a dog I dont need to train any dogs if Im smart euff to learn what the dog likes and dont likes then I am okay in handling that dog and I have a cane corso and a pitbull and they both are so great dogs I use to own a mutt call a Lab Shepherd and she also was a great dog its not the breed that makes the dog great it the people that use the dog in the right way

Mastiffs in western culture is usualy well trained and tamed. while the real Tibetan breed is famed for their extreme aggressiveness and unpredictability. they are believed to be the most ancient mastiff breed, having the strongest biting force among all dog breed. they are cute loyal and sweatheart lookin, though only to their masters whos spiritually bonded with him. any huggin, petting or kissin a tebetan mastiff from stranger thinkin its a pet, is one good way to get ur ass killed

to neurocy............... I was never debating that there is a breed / class of mastiff called Tibetan. I was saying this dog in the video is NOT, it is too small, too short, curly tail and sharp nose, if you did some research more than at your computer desk, like a few dog shows, or actually pet one, or how bought owned a mastiff I would not need to reply again, now stop wasting my time.

this is NOT a mastiff!!!!best guess is bernese mountain dog. his snout is to round for mastiff and too short for mastiff, markings are similar to bernese. they are hairy and have curled tales. after owning mastiffs and seeing dog shows you would know the difference, female mastiffs weight no less than 115 lbs. males 140lbs. and that would be extremely poor health, this dog couldn't weight more than 95 lbs.

First of all this dog should never be put on a chain as short as that....even if its for a video. And second of all, go do some research before you start making claims. This is a Tibetan Mastiff all the way, Maybe you should go pay attention at those dog shows a little more, I personally know people who breed these dogs and that is definetly a tibetan mastiff.

It was very DUMB of these folks to take a video like this and then broadcast it for everyone to see. I do want everyone to realize though that in all matters, everyone should look at the many different cercumstances of any given situation and not to take all that one sees, as it may appear to be.The truth is We do NOT know what is going on, who took the photos and as paul harvey says "the rest of the story". I also hope the dog had/has good life,we dont know if he is even alive today.
