What I can say is that according to the scientists, 2012 is the start of the new 26 000 years cycle, a supra magnetic period in our galaxy and and big meteorit activity period around the earth. Our ancestors knew it and they just let us clues about what happened before and what can happen next time. Take off all the religions sides and you might find interesting things to learn.

@Pluggy209 its not a bad hypothesis. however if you heard the story of moses and how his people were free from Egypt and they crossed the red sea because God raised both sides of the ocean. Well scientists discovered carriages in that sea later. Scientists decided that the story of Moses was real. Now, that may not prove to some that God exists, but it does show that the Bible isn't just a piece of fiction. Look at the dead sea too. God destroyed sodom and gomorrah. They found some ruins now.

This all seems awesome, but we know it's probably just another theory, lol @ the September 11 aeroplane that has to be in every documentary ever. Einstein said that 2012 would be a polar shift, where the poles would swap places. All I know is, i'm getting the lsd ready for incase anything happens.
