@aux0armes If you knew a bit about Pavarotti you'd knew that the clapping started at his request at some point, he felt like breaking the barriers between opera and the peoples and wanted to make people feel more involved in the whole opera thing, i remember seeing him contless times waving his hands during this music as if asking for clapping.

Now, i'm not saying you should clap when listening to opera in the middle of songs but with Pavarotti you really felt you had too do it.
