  • they did win the championship that yr did they ,,i dont remember

  • @spurs2232 no

  • TIM DUNCAN! TIIMM DUNNCAANN! TIIIIIIMMM DUUUNNNCAAANNNNN!!!!!

  • one of my favorite spurs moments. the onlyyy 3 pointer that duncan took that season, couldnt be anymore clutch.

  • @derrty42 He took 4 that season thats the only one he made

  • @ArchyBeatz proof?

  • i gotta give it up to a guy who steps up and hits a big shot....even if it is tim duncan

but seriously, wtf was ginobli thinking? i bet poppabitch bitched him out as usual

  • @noahtheghost That play was for Timmy the whole time.

  • yay

  • TIIIIMMMMMMMMM DUNCAAAANNNNNN

  • One of my favourite moments of Basketball. Finally, we see that Timmy can feel something.

  • Spurs finals contenders this year

  • I'm just glad I watched that game live. That shot it's the stuff epic movies are made from!

  • ccc duncan reyiz ccc

  • this is classic

  • 2010 playoffs was a different story .... thank god the Suns put the past horrors behind them.

  • @pcorf It's true, y'all pounded us! Not this year though...

  • @pcorf Yeah, how does that first championship feel? Oh, wait a minute.....

  • when i first saw this i was out of my chair screaming "tim duncan a beast"

  • Probably was the last legit shot the Suns had at getting a ring. Devastating loss for them

  • WoW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • like a boss

  • lol, ugly jumper... but, who cares? That's the jump-shoot of the best PF of all time u.u

  • don't matter if its ugly even big men can hit a wide open uncontested 3 pointer i'll bet even shaq could

  • @hamdizzel4 they really can't, that's why they don't shoot em (except certain tall players who make it a specialty, ie nowitzki, frye, etc). that was duncan's first three pointer of the season, btw. unfortunately he nailed it >:(

  • This was one of the greatest games I've ever seen.

  • travel

  • It wasn't a travel. You're allowed 2 steps.

But that might just be one of the clutchest moments I've seen in a long time.

  • You have to dribble before you can take those 2 steps technically... but the refs usually don't care about a little foot shuffle.

  • its absolutely a travel, he doesn't dribble and lifts his pivot foot. can't take 2 steps without dribbling. BUT when you compare that to all the travels people get away with in the NBA, its nothing.

this was the best game I've ever seen.

  • @coopdog929 it's a travel. But for the rest, you're right

  • im a blazer fan, and i think that tim duncan is amazing. not only does he work hard on and off the court, he is also a great person.

  • just wondering..those two little steps without dribbling..is that considered a travel?

  • yeah it should be traveling but they never call it playoffs ot and the 7c seconds left.

  • im not sure. maybe that first step is when he catches the ball. then another to set the shot. dont quote me on that tho.

  • Yes you should dribble first but they usually let little foot shuffles go.

  • one of the best games i've ever seen!

  • don't hate

  • Duncan owns the Suns. Always has, always will, Nash may have 2 mvps, but Duncan has 4 rings 3finals mvps 2reg mvps, and is far superior to Nash, Kevin GarNOT, and rest of the clowns.

  • a great set play. duncan can shoot the trey. and laceloth? least we haven't dropped our last 2TRIPS TO THE FINALS!!! SPURS FUCKIN RULE!!!!!!!

  • big time for them intresting game

  • i think the spurs are so fun to watch, i dont see how they're boring. its like they're performing surgery. they're so diciplined and so well practiced. its like they planned everything from the beginning.

  • he traveled, but under this situation i wouldn't call that....oh and seanvigilante is a fag

  • He didn't travel. When he caught the ball, his left foot was in the air when he caught the ball, which allowed him two steps to adjust, preparing for the shot. ..and Duncan's 3? FUCK YA.

  • Daaaaamn...I knew Duncan was clutch, but a three?! That's crazy!

  • hmmmm

    1. he traveled

    2. manu flops his way to the stripe

    3. bowen is just dirty

    4. do i need to say more?

  • he didnt travel he just used his foot as a pivot for the shot lol, bowen is dirty which is suprising since he is one of the nicest people for charities and stuff lol, manu does flop sometimes, not as much as the lakers players though lol!

  • My comment was done before the laker playoff. I just dont care for the lakers since they got rid of shaq their best player.

  • k fair enough.

  • 2000 - 2004 lakers were my favorite basketball team though. Except the time when dereck fisher shot that 0.4 shot, that was just crazy, against the spurs.

  • yer that shot was insane xD

  • Don't watch much sports...but that was a great move! Very smart!

  • hehehe.. 3 and 0. now what...

  • It is a good thing Sun's fans live in such a hot climate so all their tears and crying about losing evaporates quickly.

  • Great play by Ginobili, he doesn't get enough credit for his ability to tear up defences on his own. It's impossible to defend on this guy, he's too quick and too gifted. He creates the move for Duncan to finish it off beautifully.

  • that is not a travel watch every single nba player when they catch a pass they take a quick 2 step just like duncan did except u hardly notice his...not a travel if you know basketball...watch a game and just watch any player when they catch it u can see they take a real quick 2 step and its not a travel

  • does your grandmother have a ring?

  • haha we'll see kid, because of that shot we one, timmy could use another championship ring.....

  • HAHAHAHA....spurs win again! now its 2-0 spurs

  • YEAH!!! GO SPURS GO!!!

  • i bet your grandma is pissed about being down 2 and 0 also....

  • veranka3,

Phoenix's plan was to allow Ginobili have the 2-point shot if he wanted to take it, and if you noticed, everyone is covered on the perimeter with the exception of Duncan. On the contrary, nobody expected Duncan to take that shot. That must be one of the best plays that I have even seen in my basketball watching years, and goes to show that Gregg Popovich's tenure is no fluke. You have no idea how many times they would have had to practice that play!

  • that was a travel. look at 0:06 or 0:11

  • Hey serjycalstryke he was moving his left foot before he got the ball then after he had the ball he moved his right.

  • That is travel and it's bullshit when they never call these. And dont think I'm Suns fan and try to make excuses.

  • Hey kauttaja85 he was moving his left foot before he got the ball then after he had the ball he moved his right. Learned to observe.

  • shaq stayed with ginobili til he got off the 3 point line, either you leave ginobili wide open for 3 (until he drove) or you leave duncan

bad communication by Shaq and Nash

  • If Shaq stays with Duncan and Ginobili drives and scores, Phoenix is still up by one with 3 or 4 seconds left, with the ball. Their defensive scheme just makes no sense. They should be encouraging Ginobili to take a 2 point shot. It was actually a bad defensive plan by Phoenix that forced Duncan to make the game winning shot.

  • I don't understand why people are so shocked that a 2 time MVP with 4 championships can hit a wide open three. This is just terrible D by Shaq. If 50 year old accountants and 15 year old potheads playing at the YMCA can hit open threes (I've seen it happen many times!), then it only makes sense that Duncan can too.

  • Who cares about TV ratings? We fans don't make any money off of that. The Spurs are awesome and if they win again, then good for them. Tim Duncan rules all!

  • this is awesome

  • Tim Duncan

  • I don't know why everyone dreads the Spurs making it to the Finals and killing the tv ratings. If they were so boring, why is everyone always calling various Spurs playoff series (Dal/Pho/LAL) the "Real Championship"? They are consistently entertaining when in the Western brackets. It seems to me the problem lies in the Eastern Conference and their utter inability to hang with the West. Go Spurs!

  • grego420, you may say all that you want, but game 1 was won by the Spurs, while you hoped Suns won. Ahahahahah! Great Tim!

  • Shaq should have known better. It's Shaq who Duncan hit that crazy shot over four years ago, maybe 4 feet to the left of where he was yesterday. But Shaq got let off the hook cuz of 0.4.

  • This series is already like the finals... hell, i love the match-up between the suns & spurs. They always tend to be the championship games! Wow was that fro a spurs play book???

  • thats what you get out of shaq...chasing a slasher and leaving his guy open. we've seen this so many times when he was a laker. thats just one of the many bonehead plays shaq brings to the suns. go spurs! sweep the crybabies and floppers out of 1st round.

  • spurs were very lucky to escape with a win. They'll need it because the Suns are going to win the next 3 in a row.. you wait and see

  • grego-its a best of 7. Three Suns wins won't win the series! So, sure, take your three Suns wins in a row. We'll take the series. GO SPURS GO!

  • I know it's best of 7, but the suns will take the next 3 in a row. And be up 3 - 1. It goes dark after that.

  • "It goes dark after that."

That's because the "Sun" finally set at another early playoff exit, and now no playoffs.

  • I am a Spurs fan and Suns whould have beaten Spurs with Marion.

  • welcome playoff

  • welcome playoff

  • nash should have let ginobli drive in uncontested for the easy bucket as soon as he passed the three point line. i dont care if it was duncan but in that situation, u shouldnt give ANYONE an open three.

  • God, I love Tim Duncan!
