Rifter vs 2 Incursus

i recently loss 1v1 to a rifter in my punisher. After coming back from a low sec roam where our corp lost a carrier. My tear cup overflowed.

Gallente Pilots....pah...they are not the brightest! I once killed 2 Tristans with a Ibis Rookie ship...just by insulting them while orbitting a Gate in Lowsec. (sometimes i love Gate Sentrys...hrhrhr...)

THAT is not a rifter it is a assult ship with a rifter body but there is a huge diffrence

Very nice i can just imagine the feeling after this battle, my first kill ever was when i killed a newb omen in a thrasher, after that i almost wanted to throw my screen and computer out the window xD

Good fight but it ain't a rifter... It's a tech 2 version of one (wolf or jaguar) I know this coz I saw no modules to increase power cap and a rifter don't have that much capacity in it's capacitor :) rifter still pro though

@Vaminion1 I have the exact same fit on my rifter and it has enough cap to run it all without power modules. Perhaps your skills aren't high enough yet that you need a power mod.

This is why I strongly encourage all pvp-newbies to give it a go for low sec/null pvp, even if you don't have friends to accompany you. I thought I would stand no chance against "professional" pvpers that roam the low sec, but it took only few kills there to realize how wrong I had been.There are thousands of terribad pilots, whose malpractice is being exploited every day!

incursus is a horrible frigate to vs a rifter...so is da tristan.. only frig i think that can piossibly beat the rifter is the merlin or punisher

Incursus can take Rifter's but it's very hard. Tristan is roughly on par with the Rifter though, but worse range, needs cap for guns and slightly higher DPS. With some good piloting and skills Tristan's can kill Rifter's fairly well, but it's rarely easy.
