i agree! it sounds and looks better on dvd. get it from your local library i would suggest and burn it on your hd. it's mesmerising from beginning till end...

I dunno... I still like the Opus Arte production better with Susan Graham. The singers there are truly the best, but it's all a matter of opinion. I enjoyed this as well though.

Buy the DVD (TDK), folks. This opera doesn't get done better than this. They even managed to make the Suessmayr recit dramatically convincing. Truly a great show!
