  • Eddies attic in orlando?

  • Great song!!! Great show!!!!

  • This is a great song. Did you know there's an entire CD of Dark Shadows inspired songs from this guy? It's called Songs From The Dark Shadows and it's great. You can buy it from CD Baby.com

  • Oh woow, thankyou so much for doing this, it is so wonderful!!! I named my daughter Daphne and am a long time fan of ds, this is great, and perfect

  • She looks like me.

Where in UK is dark shadows the Manor ??

  • @chavrons1 She looks like you?... Will you marry me? :o)

  • I have listened to the song 6 times now and I wish I could download it to my computer. It's really a great song. How about a song about the poor servant girl Beth Chavez who falls in love with Quentin only to loose him and die on the cliffs. That should be a subject for a song:) Daphne was beautiful but so was Beth and not to mention Angelique my all time favorite:)

  • Great song!!

  • wonderful song and pics. she looked so good in those old fashioned clothes

  • Very cool, thanks for sharing.

    Thank you.

  • Yes, the show was really a special moment in TV history!!!

  • @davidleinweber I am now reliving my childhood memories of watching Dark Shadows via Netflix. I started in summer of '70 when Kate Jackson first appeared. Such a natural beauty. For 7 yr. old she was one of first visions of beauty and class on television, and David Selby was my first crush!

  • Hey,

Nice job on the video. Almost like a breath of fresh air to find videos that aren't of the major DS characters :)

  • Thanks.

  • Oh awesome, you actually wrote a song about Kate Jackson? That's so cool! Loved it! <3

  • Nice one, Dave! I love those vampire love songs.

  • she looks like the girl from orphan in this one, lol.

    luv kate j.

  • Your song is nice, and I'm happy over the interest taken in Dark Shadows. That it still carries such interest in the show to create such a song as this. Maybe you could write more. Many of us I'm sure would welcome listening to more.

  • Thanks. Watching the 1970/1840 timeline episodes on Netflix DVD was great inspiration for this one. Who knows. DL

  • Great song! I agree with VWinters1991. I don't see why they couldn't use Kate as the new Vicki instead of killing off the Vcki Winters character. We never found out who her real parents were, although I suspect Elizabeth was her real mother. The father? Guess we'll never know! One of the frustrations of DS! **sigh**

  • I always thought it was JASON...lol

  • Great song David & Bob. I emailed it to KJ -- John

  • Kate Jackson could play a good vampire in the early 70's

  • This could have just as easily been about 1841PT Daphne talking about Bramwell's ship as much as 1840RT Daphne. Very, very nice, David, bravo.

  • This is a very nicely written song! I think it's all too easy to cheese it up when writing a song about a favorite character, but this... wow. This was wonderful.

  • I totally concur.

  • Fantastic job! Daphne is one of my favorite characters on the show. I even think Kate Jackson could have played Victoria Winters had they continued that character after Alexandra Moltke left.
