DLP tvs have the best pics. The only downside is that you have to replace the bulbs and color wheels every few years!

Hmm... Crt tvs seem to have better black levels than LCD (haven't used a CRT since 2003 so I have forgotten much about them) but I do remember them being fuzzy and not as crisp as an LCD (meaning Plasma stil beats everything else as far as PQ goes.)
