  • I shot FOBs for a few years but due to a knee injury, I haven't been hunting now 2 seasons in a row. I have made believers out of many an archery shop pro. The accuracy is unbelievable and especially for those that need further distances like for antelope or caribou. I was shooting out to 50 yds with dead on accuracy from a tree stand. I have spoken to the inventor, Paul, numerous times and he is extremely nice. He will help you shoot better or die trying. You can't beat that.

  • @mojoeshaw so tempted to make an arrow to the knee joke...

  • @bigmusic39 he's Is trying to just group the arrows in the same spot as you can see the vanes did not group as well as fobs it shouldn't matter what vane you have sighted in if your just trying to group arrows do you get what I'm saying dumbass

  • @zimks Exactly, thank you. Ding ding ding we have a winner. The arrows are all shot at the same spot. You see the fobs group together, and the vanes groups together in a different spot. I did notice a couple arrows effected when the wind died during the shot. I picked this day because it was not only windy, but consistently windy. The wind speed and direction at the time of shot makes a big difference. Proves how hard it is to make a shot over 20 yards on a deer in the wind.

  • That's a quiet bow.... And I will stick with vanes...

  • limbdriver=beast, elite is good, still strict on PSE's XFORCE/OMEN series

  • I like vanes

  • FOB are a little loud compared to the vanes but they shot good. Nice video!

  • @TheHoytman77

Fob's will always be louder from the shooters perspective. Due to the compression of the air passing through the fob it creates a nozzle/ funnel effect. This makes a noise. This compression is what gives the fob a more effective force to stabilize the arrow. Thing is the noise is directional, meaning it is focused out the back of the FOB, ie at you the shooter. There are many videos documenting this phenomenon.

  • wick one do u like better FOBS or vanes

  • @branman1360

I have decided to use FOB's. I feel they help with poor release and hand torque more than vanes. During hunting we often take less than perfect shots from less than perfect stances. The additional moment "torque" created by the fob's will help stabilize the arrow faster, especially with broadheads.

  • I c a lot of videos comparing fobs with vans, and I dont understand how you can seriously shot both of them in the same bow and expect the same shot placement. u have to tune the bow to the arrows u are useing, u cant mix arrows and get the same results. like mixing vans with featers or 4'' with 5'' they may hit the same at close range but as you get further back they will shoot differently. just dont know how people can shoot them both in the same bow and say one is better than the other.

  • @bigmusic39

Differences in point of impact are largely a result of arrow weight, or drag. In your example, feathers have a lot more drag than vanes. This is also why they stabilize the arrow faster, and shoot broadheads more accurately. If two arrows are different in diameter, that can make them shoot high or low. Fobs produce more drag which equals lower impact versus vanes. This drag is used to stabilize the arrow faster, which I feel is the goal when shooting broadheads.

  • I see many videos that try and show the sound deference between vanes and FOBs. Your video sure shows that very clearly

  • u are shooting some of the best. limb driver and the b stinger are top of the line.

  • How do you like your B stinger?

  • I love my B-stinger. Weight on the end of the Stab is what matters the most. Physics baby, physics!

  • I love the stinger as well. I have the same one on my GTO. Those things hold like a rock!

  • good vid. could barely hear the light buzzz but im sure well worth it for the groups and affectiveness. ill have to order some up.

  • Thanks for the feedback.

  • good video.
