Psion 5mx terminal connected to Slug's serial port

how do you get the 5mx online? my is offline all the time

@9393andersson Hi, I'm running the default PSION OS, the psion itself is not connected online, is only acting as a Serial Port Console. The data that you see in the video is the linux bootloader serial port output from another device, the NAS device NSLU2 (aka SLUG). The slug is connected with an RS232 Level Shifter chip (MAX 232) to the PSION serial cable. This cable can also connect the PSION to the PC.

Which telnet program did you install in order to do it ?

WinCom, its a serial port communication software that comes with the Psion OS.

This is the height of AWESOME. Wish I could find a 5MX, and that OpenPsion wasn't dead :(

Just sold one extra, but died :( ... is new owner tried to put linux on it! It worked for a while!

Some times you can find some of them on ebay, but are a bit expensive :(.
