  • Cool danish accent:)

  • dude, how the hell the tri-chorus sound so fucking amazing? Is it because of the les paul or you are adding some other effect? What amp are you using?

  • @diegofr90 I think Søren uses Marshall amps.. - And it's indeed a good sounding tri-chorus:)

  • @tcelectronic By the way, can this pedal nail the electric mistress or ADA sounds?

  • @diegofr90 You'll have to compare for yourself - I think the pedal is very versatile..

  • I'm sold.....Thanks.....Gas....

  • nice les paul, what type is it?

  • how is he changing between presets?

  • @joelg125 The switches are able to control the presets as well as on/off and tap tempo.

  • When using two engines, are they running in series or parallel?

So if I wanted to run a chorus and a phaser at the same time, do I get the sound of a chorus on top of a phaser, or do I get the sound of what a single chorus, and a single phaser would sound like but together?

  • @Botdra You can set up Nova System to run in serial, semi-parallel or parallel mode. please check out the manual for information on this.

  • @tcelectronic Awesome, thanks very much! Has TC done any video demos to show the difference between the two settings?

  • Any ide where I can get a power supply for this bad boy???

  • @DeathNebula The NOVA Modulator requires 12V DC 300 mA. you can use any power supply with similar specifications.

  • sound good now wheres the bacon sandwiches

  • I WANT THISSS!!! I'M GONNA BUY THIS!!!! I FUCKING LOVE THISS!!!

    Ok that's enough.

I just can't wait to get my money and buy this thing next month.... Grrrr! XP

  • It would be cool to call the presets using midi

  • I like how he says 'flanger'

  • we know nova drive is analog but digitally programmable. this pedal is also digitally programmable but is it analog or digital? i think it is digital...

  • Hiya,

    Yes, it's digital.

    Best wishes,

    Joey @ TC

  • I might add that I mean when the pedal is OFF but in effects loop your original tone is very colored. It sounds like some kind of phaser or reverb kinda and digital.

  • I brought this pedal home to try it before buying and I'm really dissapointed :( it sounds great when it's in front of the amp. But when I placed it in the effects loop (the effects like tremolo will sound better with distortion that way) the pedal colored the original tone VERY drastically. When I was tweaking the mix knob of the effects loop the sound went from good to really digital sounding as some kind of filter was applied. TC electronic fix this pedal, give it a true bypass not digital :(

  • does it colour your tone by placing the Nova infront of the amp?

  • I haven't noticed, only in the loop. I don't have that problem with pedals like Boss DD-20 or carl martin tremolo and fulltone choralflange

  • Read the manual! If this is like other Nova pedals, there's a way to calibrate the pedal to the specific signal level.

  • Lol, Søren Andersen, typical danish accent xD

  • what pickups this gibson has?

  • I'd love to hear the Tri-Chorus setting with high gain amp distortion

  • i've been playing in bands off and on 25 years. styles include rock, metal, funk, reggae, ska, acoustic etc. i own a hughes & kettner alex lifeson triamp head and cab. i know tone! these pedals are cool! i just got the reverb pedal the other day and have only had it running through a small marshall practice amp that belongs to my girlfriend. it already sounds killer! i dig the shit out of this stuff. try it! they are really cool!...brian simmons...tulsa ok

  • but wouldn't it be easier to just get a multi-effect board where you have all types of effects??

  • Some peeps prefer to have their own distortion, OD, Wah etc units. Have a more 'distinct' and 'specialised' tone. Restrictive some say, but unique to some.

So instead of getting a multi efx, they can do a...

Amp <- Delay <- (Nova Modulator) <- EQ Pedal <- Distortion unit <- OD unit <- Wah <- Tuner <- Guitar

Something like this if you understand what I meant.

  • multi effects never sound quite the same. theyre getting better. but they will never be quite as good as the real thing. some people love multi effects though. im not one of them though.

  • I think people who love multi-effects aren't picky

  • My Nova Modulator shipped today. I'm getting it on the 14th....I can't wait. Never been more excited about a new pedal.

  • You should post a video when you get it if you can. I'm super interested to hear what the chorus and tri chorus sounds like on a clean channel cuz I wanna get one.

  • Well, I heard the nova delay sucked #ss-cream. From the video it seems it struggles with the bits. Maybe that's just youtube.

  • Thats probably just because of youtube's video quality. I have the Nova delay and I love it. The sound quality is amazing. Its probably the best delay I've ever played, and I've played a ton.

  • I want to hear the tri chorus on the crunch channel

  • HEy could you pretty please post a video to show how it handles high speeds? If it can handle better then boss digital stuff im gonna get one. boss stuff tends to go from 90 to 1000 and nowhere inbetween on high speeds. thanks
