We have those models helmets for the SCBA use, we get fire here and use our BAs a lot. When you are going low into a interior attack your back bill of a original helmet would hit the BA bottle and not allow u to look up. these helmets allow you to look up without hitting up on the BA bottle.
It's a good helmet. But "springdaleave" has a problem with them I guess. I think the helmet is great, its extremely comfortable and you can drive over them without them breaking.
What the hell is wrong with the KCFD Helmet? Several So. Cal Departments use the same model.
