im from scotland in the uk and the I love the nhs. I've never had to pay for my medication, eyecare, dental stuff....

i have asthma+hayfever and do need to wear contacts/glasses. I get my medication/inhalers etc... when I need them! (not that I need them much nowadays) but if I ever need an appointment at the doctor I can get it the same day if I wanted to... you americans, no matter what you think should have it too. It's shocking that a rich country like yourself doesn't...

I think the main hang up with right wing Americans (not all) is because the NHS was invented by a Socialist Government..For god sake that dont make it Communism! Cant you just see its simple to understand that FREE HEALTHCARE FOR ALL IS THE HALLMARK OF A CIVILISED SOCIETY!..The whole modern world should be doing it.

Please Americans, listen to your president. The NHS is not perfect but my God am I pleased we have it. I do not have to worry what will happen if I get ill, or if my son breaks his leg. We do not pay for consultation fees, hospital appointments or operations. Surely one of the greatest nations on earth should have the same care and treatment. Do not listen to self promoting MPs with rich aristocratic families who would never stay in the same hospital as normal hardworking families.
