I've seen episodes of all those cartoons, I've just never found them amusing or entertaining enough to keep on watching them. Believe it or not, but most of what passes for humor and entertainment in America is not so delightfully accepted in the rest of the world. Maybe so, but the world cant get enough of our culture overseas...we are the biggest exporter of entertainment media in the world, and they eat it up!!!! In fact, our product has been dumbed down On Purpose, just so it Can be exported overseas to the rest of the world causing many Americans to complain.

lol, man you ARE tough!! but, its a free country. I actually feel that way about Seinfeld...I think I'm the only person in the world who sits there and says...huh???? wheres the funny part??? all they do is whine about pointless stuff and repeat themselves like crazy, and we do that at home all the time.

But for me, Herc rules. Any show with lines like "does Isoceles get triangle royalties???" is a blast. And Prometheus arguing with the Eagle over eating his liver with onions..priceless!!!!!

TV animation is never as good as film, they dont have the budget.And Hercs budget was slashed further cause the movie bombed bigtime.The vapid dialogue?? sorry, Im too busy laughing at the academic references, the fabulously clever characterization and the terrific oneliners.What, did you have a humorectomy or something???Arent you getting the jokes???

I get the jokes and I admit the dialogue has its moments. But in my opinion, it's still unoriginal, the plots are still rather uninteresting, and the running jokes get very old after a while, as does the boring teenager romance that's present in practically every episode. Look, it's not like I have bad taste just because I don't like a Disney TV series. Please, stop acting like your opinions rule the world.

Sounds like you dont know a thing about the show. Or, yer REAL hard to impress. If you want to know what Hercs about, google the Officially Unoffical Disneys Hercules TV website and theres all the info you need. If Hercs not your cup of tea then Toon Disney is offering a avariety of shows ranging from Power Rangers to, well, the Power Rangers. Which is what "I" call unoriginal!!!

I looked up around ten episodes on youtube. All of them, five minutes in - obsessive teenage bug-eyes at pretty women. I loved the movie, even though it distorted the mythology and had a few too many puns, but the TV series just seems downright campy. I guess you could say I'm difficult to impress, but no, this isn't my cup of tea exactly.

*shrugs.* Well, c'est la vie!!! for a toon that is geared specifically to 3-11 year olds Hercs a terrifically intelligent toon.....and the parents that watched along with them laughed their tushes off!!!If you didnt bother to check out the website, I guess you arent going to "get it". Out of curiosity, whats your idea of a clever hilarious well written heart warming cartoon series filled with amusing characterizations and littered with bon mots??

oh and for the record, of the 65 eps made, 10 are relationship/gal issues. The rest deal with finding a job, defending honor, friendhip and loyalty stories, battling Hades {Who IS fantastic in the show, of course}and contending with the not so easy side of growing up.

Meh, I dunno. I agree that this is probably one of the more intelligent ones out there - they already had some great material to work with, from the original film. For a kid's series with no real important subtext, it's not awful; I still find it trivial and annoying. Maybe my standards were set by the movie, which was so much better. =P

I don't know any cartoon series of that description; Doctor Who comes to mind, but that's largely irrelevant, as it's live action.

I finally get iqaris's part. He is the son of that inventor, who tried to escape the island they were on by creating wax wings 4 both him and his son. Iqaris's father told him to stay away from the sun. But as they were flying over the sea, Iqaris flyed to high up and his wax wings melted as he got fryed by the sun.
