So what you do is you mix it up, liquid nitrogen and all, without the tequila. Then, after you have it all nice and frozen, add tequila.

The reason why is because if you do it all at once, the alcohol can get so cold that you will still have a velvety margarita, but it will freeze your throat.

Not smart. The freezing point of Alcohol is far lower than the freezing point of water. If you're not careful with this process, you could end up freezing your throat and damaging major organs.

If you're attempting this, I would first cool your margarita mix down to a slush, and then add the Alcohol, keeping any danger of cooling your drink below what your body can handle out of the equation.

they are definitely edible and taste great. The nitrogen evaporates out. Although if you have tequila in it, the freezing point is lower, so it might be too cold to drink (literally). So then you gotta wait a bit.
