  • I got 200k miles on my acura integral ls 1990 still.runs good

  • What do you do that puts so many miles on this car? You put nearly 100k miles on that thing in two years? You must live in that car.

  • I am picking up a 95 Legend Coupe tomorrow. 135k miles. Looking forward to many years of driving it.

  • Good on ya. I just picked up a `99 Honda Legend (really wanted to, but couldn't find one of your generation that was worth a damn in terms of condition), only has 75,000 km on the odo. Looking forward to many k's of motoring around Australia. Told myself this would be my one and only ride so long as I'm in this country. Love those old Legends, and love that in Australia, it is still referred to as the Legend.

  • dude nice ass front bumper... where did u get it? grats i have a 2 dr 4 spd

  • @anthony26951 that's a stock bumper.

  • @4cruizn WTF??!!? im officially mad... when i got my car i had a bumper that looks nothing like that... it was all beat up... and different style

  • I've always been an Honda/Acura fan. Seeing this video definitely makes me want to purchase an Acura Legend. You definitely have my respect for maintaining such a fine automobile and hopefully you'll enjoy the Legend for many years to come.

  • Wow... Very nice maintained Legend... My is a 90 Ls Coupe with only 110xxx Miles... I bought the car from a Old guy that used to keep it garaged... :) I love the SPORT MODE.. wow, is so STRONG.. :) haha Gd luck on ur next 600xxx.. :) (:

  • good job dude. im on my way to 300k nw in my 3.0

  • I have lots of respect for people that keep their cars in this kinda shape... Good luck to 500K dude

  • @BT20bball Thanks. 495,800 and counting

  • Do you still have it :O?

  • @TheDataZoo Yeah it turned over 495,000 today.

  • Yea I guess Hondas are pretty reliable.

  • Great video. Very well done.. I have a pontiac grand prix GTP with 279K miles with an untouched engine. Transmission is a different story. If and when i hit 300K hopefully my video will be as good as yours. Good job. Go for 400K!

  • i remember watching your vids 5-6 years ago when i still had my legend. I LOVE THAT CAR!!!!

  • I bet your're just starting to break that thing in hahaha

  • your a beast.

mines just hit 200k and still going strong too :)

  • Man my 93 sedan crapper out at 140,000 with blown head gaskets. And me being in school I didn't have $3000 to fix it and I was so pissed to

  • Cool video - my legend is just about the same as yours. Six speed, LS Coupe, in gold.Mine is a 1995 with (only) 230,000 miles on the clock, but all original parts. I love my Legend.

  • lol, you pulled off freeway

  • my co-worker has a Legend a 90. and its has 500,000K and her's is all original. the only prob she's having now is the small parts that car going bad like window motors and stuff she cant find parts for.

  • @BeeABaw Acura no longer makes parts for their 1990 cars? wow.

  • wow, hope my legend has another 270,000 miles in her, thats amazing

  • NICE MAN!!!! I HAVE A 95 LEGEND COUPE WITH 158,000 MILES AND IT RUNS STRONG STILL!!! AFTER WATCHING THIS VID I AM VERY PROUD TO OWN A LEGEND!!!! STAYIN ALIVE STAYIN ALIVE!!!!

  • great choice of song!!

  • Acura made a huge mistake dropping the Legend name, replacing it with the boring RL. The old RL looked like a Japanese Lincoln, no character at all. Even their new styling has gone off the wall. The current TL's sales are half what the previous generation's was.

  • @itsmegp46 I like the newest generation of Acuras I do agree they have gone a bit awry with the styling. That grill on the newest Acuras... Don't know about that.

  • It still looks new! Thats incredible. 400,000 miles new!

  • wow man.. thats awesome! i have a 2009 TL and LOVE it!!!!

  • love your vids man

  • too bad u are all the way across the country and i cant take to the same shop that got urs cruisin pass 400k. congratulations! u must be a proud owner of that machine.

  • 9ice Legend man, i initially started following ur legend story on the internet, ive downloaded every pic of that car to motivate me to get my 91 coupe anywhere remotely close to the condition urs is in. unfortunately mine suffered a h2o pump malfunction @ 228k and the engine had to be replaced. long story short the mechanic did a shotty job and i had to get another car but i couldnt get myself to sell it. now im looking for a good honda/acura specialist in maryland.

  • This is awesome and you have a excellent clean car.

I thought mine was amazing but nothing compare to yours.

I have a 1988 Acura Legend at 270,000, running strong but barely passed smog this year. 2 timing belts, one alternator, 2 water pumps, start leaking oil but

at 270,000 what do you expect.

No head gasket but may need a new engine or transmission, so far so good...

keep everyone posted on how it goes next year.

    Thanks.

  • Damn that legend is CLEAN!! You'd never know it had 400k unless you saw the odometer. Probably cause you're not some stupid ricer with a fart can, that rags the piss out of it at every stop light. Good Job keeping it original and going strong.

  • Got a 94 four door legend and im goin on 206 and she still runnin good all original I just wish they wouldnt have stopped makin them!!! Congrats bra

  • Very clean looking legend, nice one!

171k Acura Legend owner here, gives me hope it will last me a long time :)

  • I'm thinking of getting an Acura Legend for my first car. But I'm not sure I need some feedback from people that have had Legends before. So please let me know what you think, is it a smart move? Leave me your stories or anything. Thanks.

  • 400000. ha nothing for a honda

  • you probably had to change the head gaskets 4 times lol?

  • @desertegle81 Original HGs and all maintenance records since Day 1 to prove it...

  • @4cruizn yea i have and 92 legend coupe with over 300,000 miles man those things will run forever

  • 400,000 and never had to do the head gasket? wow. Thats what killed a majority of them. They usually failed around 120,000 and up. Thats awesome man congrats.

How many times did you do the timing belt?

  • @mi777ke777 I recently had the timing belt done for the 4th time. It is not due again until 511,000 miles. The car has 424,000 now and still running strong...

  • @4cruizn How much did it cost you to change your timing belt?

  • @4cruizn Good luck. I hope you can drive it to 1 million. My honda tranny keeps having tranny issues every 100k. I change fluid every 15k instead of 30k but it still craps out. Engine is running strong at 290k.

  • @mi777ke777

People were too scared to have the work done. It is worth it. Mine went at 120,000. The car now has almost 300,000 miles. And yes, the new TL's are atrocious. They lack the class and subtle style of the Legend.

  • not even the maintenece lights are on..

  • very clean

  • Honda is ROCK!

  • Wow! Amazing! All I hear about these cars is that they are legendary. Also, your car looks incredible for the year and mileage!

  • hey I saw you on CNN, pretty impressive. I was wondering how much you spent on maint other than oil changes? How many times changing the trans fluid?

  • woooo Hooo!! Lmfaooo

  • EXCELLENT! Youtube is no longer showing dates, so when did this happen? And what's your mileage now?

  • @SJHFoto I think the date is still showing up in my description of the video. This was on 10/30/09. I am at 416,500 today.

  • It's very cool. CONGRATULATIONS

  • It is ashame that Honda does not make them this good anymore.

  • hahahha :) good movies :) i whis my leged drive that milage :) i have 134 000miles :)

  • hahaha epic

  • my acura legend juss hiit 288000 do you think i can go to 400000?

  • Your plate number is awesome!

  • Excellent! When we bought our 01 Accord the plan was to go to 150k and then trade up... currently at 126k and it's hardly showing any wear at all. My new goal is 250k minimum, and maybe I should think about going higher. Nice looking car and thanks for sharing this milestone!!

  • Amazing!!

    we love KA8!!

  • I miss my Legend :(

Had one just like this; it was dark green though.

Worst move I ever made was selling it!!!

  • Awesome! Fitting song, and great location to flip 400K, Very insightful for fellow Honda/Acura owners, Good luck on 500K, no doubt you will make it!

  • i have followed your car on the legend forums and defintily admire the level of dedication you have to the maintenance and the attention to detail so that it could have endured as long as it has. Well done sir. (My 05 RL just turned 100K, hopefully will see the same numbers someday!)

  • Seen on Autopia! Looking great, as always! Man, wish my Acura could go that high...Should change your plate to "400 K" lol!

  • Flawless Victory!!!!!

  • Awesome, man. It's nice to see your machine hit this milestone. I'm definitely waiting to see you hit 500K.

Makes my 124K look like I'm slacking off. :hide:

  • excellent choice of music. When was the last time you changed your timing belt and water pump guy? Don't forget! 7years 100,000 max. see you again in a few years cause that cars going to get 500, 000 miles no problem!

Staying alive, Staying alive! You should pitch this commercial to american honda's marketing department maybe you could make a lot of money?

  • nice ride.

  • Ha Ha dam lovin that old school music, nice ride bro Acura's can go for hella long if u stay up on the maintanence lol

  • Awsome can you come out with more acura videos my favorite car :D
