@Toshikihito Steve Harris! This is a super-group with 4 of the greatest musicians alive so why not poach Iron Maiden's bassist? Apart form Sugizo they all seem to be leaders but Harris formed Maiden and sits in the background and kicks ass!

This was the best show I ever attended HAHAH I was screaming and jumping and I Oh man....here I am a year later...about to cry now. It was so beautiful. HAHA the screaming puts me back. I feel like I was back in the chaos and beauty of the show. I hope they perform again...or aleast get something recorded.
My.God. Will the audience STFU please! I know it's exciting, I've been to concerts as well, but it's common courtesy to calm yourself down and allow the musician to play. Other people are there to enjoy the music as well besides you. You don't have to scream and yell, you can always dance.
It actually wasn't that bad in person. The music was very much audible, despite fans being so excited, but who could blame them? Did you attend? Twas a fab show... :)
I think the recordings by the fans aren't very great, most likely due to the fact that the equipment used wasn't professional. Can't really blame fans for that. They were lucky enough to get that stuff inside.
I can attest that it was incredibly difficult to contain myself during the show - and it wasn't hard to hear the music when we were actually there. We were also encouraged to be loud by Gackt. :3
It is a bummer that all the recordings are marred by all the noise, though! Since these guys never released an EP or anything. ;.;

I think Sugizo (as well as Luna Sea) are known reasonably well known in America among bands, in fact Marty Friedman the lead guitarist for Megadeath for close to 10 years did one of the songs on the Luna Sea Memorial Cover Album.

There is way too much ego in that band. I guarantee they're not going to last. Just Miyavi and Gackt alone is a horrible mix. (And personally, I think Miyavi can do so much better)

Exactly. X Japan were one of the biggest, and just listen to about any japanese guitar player to come out the last 15 years and you'll hear tons of Sugizo licks in there, he practically invented VK guitar for the coming generations.
Hyde should have been in it too! Them 3 are cool jrock stars (Miyavi being my favourite :P) Maybe Side from AXi or Ruki from Gazette should be the last member. That'd be the perfect band :D.

actually, i kinda think the same thing. instead of being full-blown happy, it's quite worrisome as well. each of them as individual has very strong characteristics (like you've mentioned before) and work solo for such a long time after the disband. from what i saw in other video, Sugizo seems moody and temperamental. while they can contribute and create great songs together, but psychologically speaking, there'd be loads of issues gonna come up. i wonder how long they can endure that.

That came through a chinese tabloid I believe. What REALLY happened was Gackt was running late due to either traffic or plane problems and couldn't make in on time. Yoshiki questioned him and the result was a mere glaring contest. So they didn't really have like a huge fight or nothing. Just a small disagreement, and don't worry people they are still friends :)

I think Sugizo (as well as Luna Sea) are known reasonably well known in America among bands, in fact Marty Friedman the lead guitarist for Megadeath for close to 10 years did one of the songs on the Luna Sea Memorial Cover Album.

Ummm...you do realize that the Japanese fangirls scream just as much and as loud as them right? I think it would have been more disrespectful not to scream, then it would have made them feel unwanted or like they were putting on a bad show. Yes, there are obviously times when it's more appropriate to just be quite and listen (you didn't hear anyone scream loudly during Gackt and Miyavi's instrumental part did you?) but I think it's perfectly for the most part. It is a ~concert~ afterall...

Yeah, maybe it's a little too much, but at least I'm trying to get along with it. It's good that Gackt's singing and Miv is behind his guitar, 'cause they both know how to do they're own jobs. Gackt's better singer ect. But still, I can't say, whose's the best of them. It's interesting to watch, what this is going to be.

I'll admit I can hardly hear what gackt is saying in the song and the music's kinda loud(But it's a JROCK CONCERT OF COURSE)and there's bound to be a lot of enthusiasm from fangirls and shouting....but I still wish I were there to witness it.
Very nice though....Miyavi looked great and so did Yoshiki & Sugizo.
But WTF happened to Gackt's hair???
That's a little too much I think....

There is way too much ego in that band. I guarantee they're not going to last. Just Miyavi and Gackt alone is a horrible mix. (And personally, I think Miyavi can do so much better)
BUT. I do like Gackt's music (just not overly fond of the man himself) so I'm quite pleased to see him experimenting with a new band.
I still think the band should have been named Miyavi and the Old Fogies, though. XD (just a joke, rabid fangirls. don't get on my case about it.)

you're young so I'll forgive you the old fogies comment.... but w/o those old fogies there would be no Miyavi today... thats the progression of music for you. Not that any of them are very old..... And as for ego in this band.... you have four international sex symbols... there is ego out the ass... but they may make it work...even if its just for a little while. I only see this as a side project for all of them to promote themselves.... and I don't mind at all.

Exactly. X Japan were one of the biggest, and just listen to about any japanese guitar player to come out the last 15 years and you'll hear tons of Sugizo licks in there, he practically invented VK guitar for the coming generations.

Even in Japan people sometimes cheer and scream in the middle of a song. It depends on the venue and the band.
I will admit, I had a hard time shutting up during some of SKIN's songs because I was so excited to see not only SKIN premier in the US but to see Gackt perform in the US for the first time.

I feel really sad when I see SKIN or hear about them I was a really loyal fan of Miyav and would rather have be a solo artist than with Gackt, Sugizo, and Yoshiki... i wonder how long this 'SuperBand' will last...i mean, hope it lasts a very long time but...i'll just point out some things; Meevs, ust to being the center of attention and his personality is overwhelming. Gackt, he doesn't like sharring to much of the lime light, he does have a pretty seriouse ego. Yoshiki, from what i've heard, is a controll freak, and lets face it...he isn't getting any younger. Sadley, i absolutly know nothing about Sugizo. if this affends u let me know.

actually, i kinda think the same thing. instead of being full-blown happy, it's quite worrisome as well. each of them as individual has very strong characteristics (like you've mentioned before) and work solo for such a long time after the disband. from what i saw in other video, Sugizo seems moody and temperamental. while they can contribute and create great songs together, but psychologically speaking, there'd be loads of issues gonna come up. i wonder how long they can endure that.

no. it was the people that worked at the arena. they wouldn't let S.K.I.N. in. and by the time they did, S.K.I.N. wanted to practice. soo... that's the story. the arena people did it again too for another show.

That came through a chinese tabloid I believe. What REALLY happened was Gackt was running late due to either traffic or plane problems and couldn't make in on time. Yoshiki questioned him and the result was a mere glaring contest. So they didn't really have like a huge fight or nothing. Just a small disagreement, and don't worry people they are still friends :)
