@firefwi Raw bones are OK. In fact, they are probably healthier than other calcium sources. Cooked bones are like you said, dangerous and potentially lethal.

Definitely not rich. And when it rains they can go behind the pond and under that whole second level. It stays nice and dry under there. Also you can see at 3:57 there is a tunnel that goes from the enclosure and connects to the house. They are free to go inside the house at any time.

going for some of these cats as a first time savannah owner would you say that going for a breeding pair would be to much to handle or would you suggest just getting some as purley pets and not breeding them?what is involoved when breeding them?

First off you are going to want to buy from a reputable breeder. Most reputable breeders are not going to sell you a breeding pair. They usually only sell to breeders that have experience with breeding. Yes they are a lot to handle. I work from home, never take vacations. Basically you are home 24/7. If you are thinking you can make some money breeding these cats. Thats not going to happen either. After food, vet bills, and everything else, you dont make money.... Cont.

-----> You also have to have a lot of room, so you can keep the males separate from the females. Also you have to check local laws and apply for a cattery license. If you are looking to have a cat that sits on your lap, and lays in bed with you. Forget breeding. The males will spray all over everything. The females will fight. Thats just been my experiences with this breed. Good luck :)

which savannahs are the biggest f1's or dosent it matter? also couldent you let these cats outside on there own like normal house cats or wouldent they come back home?

Usually F1s and F2s are the biggest. These cats are very curious and will run away and get lost or stolen very easily. Plus I have a breeding pair of Savannahs. Its like letting thousands of dollars just wonder around the neighborhood, waiting for someone to steal them, a coyote to eat them, or get disease from other cats. This habitat was the best solution to keep them safe and allow them outdoors to play.

Thank you. They are free to go inside the house and outside in the habitat, whenever they want. At 8:20 you can see where the habitat connects to the house.

About 7 easy laid back days. We were just kinda having fun, and messing with ideas. The concrete pad was already there. It took 3days just to do the pond, because we had to wait for the cement to cure. Total cost of the habitat was only $130.00. Thanks Craigslist!
