this is beautiful..i have an unnatural obsession with owls. i've seen a couple out in the wild in my life, only one being recently. to see something like this would just make my life!
Owls are my dream. I live in Hillsdale, Michigan I am 46 years old and have never seen an owl in the wild. I with and pray often I will be blessed to see one.
@MadLabFilms It's certainly a rare gift to see an owl! We have them nesting on our property, and we hear them calling to each other in the summer. In late winter, when there's a crust on the snow that can prevent them from catching the critters that tunnel-under, an owl will occasionally stalk our bird feeder, as this one did. It was amazing, having this bird outside our window all day! It's sometimes possible to have conversations with a barred owl, if they are calling at night-- you can imitate them and they'll reply.
