nice truck what all do you have to do to convert the engine + all i have a 92 s-10 with a 2.8 liter and 5 speed , its perfect for a v-8 i just dont know where to start could anybody help me out!!!
You'll need the engine and a transmission (your 2.8's tranny wont work) then you need the motor mounts, radiator, front coil upgrade, exhaust, possibly a driveshaft upgrade, then you need to make mods to the firewall and frame depending on which V8 you use, then you'll want to upgrade the rear (stock will work but doesn't like V8 abuse)....plus all the wiring needed depending on if you go fuel injected or carbed. Best thing to do is find one already done unless you have time/tools to DIY

whats the offset on those rear rims+ tires? i have an s-10 and like that size and the way it looks.. what rearend you have in there as well?? any big problems when putting a small block in an s-10? you said you did 3 of em.. im in progress of changing my 2.8 5 speed s-10 to a 350 small block s-10 either 5 speed or turbo 350 tranny.. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks alot.
oh my...... that is amazing... i love it you did a very nice clean job.. :O but i have to ask what is that thing hanging behind the axle with the lines coming out of it? i couldent understand what you were saying with your exhaust right there...? but VERY VERY nice truck i also have a s10 i have a 89 regular cab shortbox in the middle of resto it is a 5 spd with stock 2.8 when it goes i'm gonna put in a crate motor or something.. not to sure yet
I bought this truck from this man and this is the video that he sent me so i could see it. The thing hanging under the bed that you could see was the fuel filter canister, what you couldnt see was the holley blue fuel pump hidden behind the license plate. He was saying was "see that thing on the leaf springs, thats a Slide-a-link, to help give it a good launch, adjust the suspension just right the front wheel are comming up.
