  • I'm not against the basic ideas he shared . . . But he needs to pick a better anology than a forest and a forest fire.

individual trees are infact sacrificed for the betterment of the whole during forest fires. It's a known proceedure to cut down a large amount of trees in the path of a forest fire in order to stop the fire from damaging the entire forest.

Again, I am not disagreeing with his basic ideas, but bad analogy IMHO.

  • ATTN EVERYBODY:

Like "Celebrity Endorsements for Ron Paul 2012" on facebook!

  • What I mean by "group", is that it is possible for non corruption to happen. Though "groups" get corrupt, like financial banks, and families that are destructive in disguise.

  • He does not comprehend "group". He does not comprehend that it is possible to have multiple truly wise leaders, he doesn't believe because he can't name one in today's society. The status quo can be wrong,

  • Besides the fact that there is no agreement on the language anymore, so we can't duplicate each others communication or understand each other.... many are so illiterate they can't understand words and concepts.. it makes them apathetic. (they appear to be sheeple but aren't really)

The third real problem.. is Drugs.. the whole country is on drugs.

Support solutions to those three basic problems and we can get this show on the road.

  • G Edward is the godfather of Truth. A living legend.

I briefly review 'The Creature' here, with other books on the NWO.

  • Anybody see his interview with Yuri Besmenov in the early 70's?

    Brilliant. Just awesome.

  • awesome interview

  • Edward Griffin is everything that's right!

  • This guy has done his ayn rand research

  • This is great material, thank you for posting!

  • As long as the TOP Capitalists ARE NOT the following, will we begin to see something new.

    Jesuits

    The Vatican

    Zionists

    Rothschild family

I could care less if a Bob or a Sue had the most money and power, b/c it would be different for history. As long as their not part of that group I listed below will we ever move forward.

  • "A Republic, if you can keep it." - Benjamin Franklin - When asked by a woman while he was leaving the Constitutional Convention what kind of government they had given us.

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

"The issue today is the same as it has been throughout all history, whether man shall be allowed to govern himself or be ruled by a small elite." - Thomas Jefferson

  • Individualism sounds like a good philopsophy (back about 1000 years ago) but individuals live & form GROUPS-- communities/ societies/states/nations, etc.. which then are "collectively" managed & governed.

  • 17,000 views so far....share it with ur friends and family. visit his website, its amazing. no bs, just well researched analysis of the subject matter....this is what the ron paulers need to really understand.

  • I'd like to do a "Best of G. Edward Griffin" video.

  • Looks like this was taped before the mortgage meltdown. Very relevant for late 2009 with people arguing about these concepts over the healthcare takeover.

  • @TheToolDude Yeah, and it's funny because Mr. Griffin was predicting the meltdown long before it happened.

  • this is great

  • this is the first time that ive heard him speak, but im truly blown away by what he's saying. some much knowledge and intellect; he just put things into a perspective that i haven't really payed much attention to before. thanks for posting this vid

  • please research him until u cant anymore. he is a legend.

  • Thanks kingneddy! This was a great share. This man is sooo right on!

  • I watched all 12 segments of Griffin's Creature of Jekyll Island and now this. He is so brilliant. Many things make sense, like no matter which party gets elected the USA goes in the same direction. The bankers have created so many distractions that we don't even notice that we are giving them so much and getting nothing in return.

  • This is awesome. If you look up the definition of awesome in the dictionary, it should have a link to this youtube video.

  • thank you for putting this on here, this is by far one of the best political questions asked ever.

  • Collectivism start with family. Do you have bad family/ experience?. How does the individual act?. This is PURE INTELLIGENT.

  • This video needs to be seen by every man and woman living on this planet! I'm translating it so that folks in my country can benefit from it too.

  • Griffin is right: if the rights of the individual are broken NOONE in the "Group" is safe anymore! You dont feel any group when YOU are the one whos being executed! The "group" doesnt exist when its you or your child being executed. communism and socialism were fundamentally DEMOCRATIC ideas, but perverted by stalin,LENIN and others with SUPPORT from the "collectivist" bankers, because bankers always bet on both horses hoping to crush or control the stalin, lenin or mao that follows a revolution.

  • BANKERS supported LENIN and the communism, NOT because they were "collectivists" or communists at heart but because the TSAR OPPOSED central BANKING and the Tsars had HELPED Lincoln AGAINST the Central Bankers. The bankers believed they could crush or manipulate Lenin afterwards. the Bankers have always hedged their bets, betting on both horses! the Bankers "collectivism" is just total fascist control! Communism on the contrary as an idea was NEVER intended for oppression or ELITE dictatorship!

  • u r good long live forever. hope u live long enough to help many many people......may Allah bless u.

  • The Jewish Communist System is a Slave System, the Citizen is a Slave to benefit the ruling Jewish Communists.

The Jewish Communist Nations were the only nations in History to ever erect fences to keep their Citizen/Slaves from escaping!

  • The only nation ever to erect fences? HAHA

  • Very well stated with clarity and integrity. Collectivism has an ever changing dynamic which excludes personal growth and enlightenment, for groups attempt to systemize to control aberrant behavior, whereas the individual is realized through transcendent awareness.

  • very informative explanation by edward griffin

  • The wealthy of Wall Street and the City of London via this public private investment fund will cherry-pick the best loans for undervalued prices. Theyll be purchased for $0.10 to $0.30 on the dollar. Billionaires will then quickly become trillionaires. These will be the donors to our president the friends of Barak, FOB if you please. That leaves the rest of the real garbage to be held by the taxpayers. This is the price we have to pay to keep deadbeats in their homes.

  • No, going back individualistic is actually a set back of evolution. People must connect so everybody can reveal differences. Ego ruins party and society. Domination is the chief culprit. Just pick on leaders is unfair. Leaders are both good and bad all the time. We don't want repeating history. We want our lives for improvement and for our children, not just re-living our fathers' lives. Repeating history is just a romance. It is too Hollywood, man.

  • beancube2006, "evolution" is a tricky word. Evolution into what? Individualism is the key to freedom. If a bureaucrat has the power to make your life better, he has the power to make it worse.

Placing your faith in bureacracy assumes that those in power will neither make mistakes or abuse it. That's a dangerous assumption.

IOW: The bigger the bureaucracy, the bigger the mistakes. Having a "separation of powers" mitigates civilizations' inevitable mistakes.

  • this guy was handsome back men watch his other videos

  • Here we have a great American, boiling it down to the point. Rare these days!

  • A great man.

  • Griffon is such an insightful guy on so many topics - and a nice person too.

  • Support your local gun show and or gun stores, ASAP

  • His book is a great book and he is a real hero. Too bad it is too late to change anything now.

  • it's not too late

  • I wish that was true. I am sure the only way anything will change is if americans start a

    revolution.

  • WoW first time i heard this man. Very intelligent man. i wish everyone would agree with me or the few that say Restore Our republic! This country was not meant to be a Democracy!! The word Democracy ins not in the Pledge Of Allegiance, that is dieing and heard of less and less everyday and disrespect to the Flag.

  • Yes, I agree.

  • WOW! Amazing video. Favorited! More people need to hear this.

  • GOT MILK? hidden camera!

  • this is my great uncle =]

  • The greedy aren't interested in any "ism".

The filthy rich ONLY want to consolidate their power and KEEP it.

    "Collectivism" is right on target.

The wealthy are interested in MONOPOLY, NOT "competition".

The London based bankers PAID Marx to write the "Communist Manifesto", supported the Russian revolution & Hitlers fascism.

They will support ANY "ism" with centralized POWER, THEM. They are the "bloodlines", "leizure class" and the "chosen ones".

Get in their way & they'll kill you.

  • Wow - that was one of the most thorough and well handled answers to a question to an honest question. So different to most political answers, in which half the time they confuse you and don't even actually answer your question.

  • If you Hate Individual Life,

    If you Hate Individual Liberty,

    If you Hate Individual Property,

Give all of these Rights away by your Consent to me, just sign the Contract.

    Will anyone Volunteer?

    How about you Pananarchist?

My Rights must be taken away,

    Without my Consent!

    Can You Dig It?

  • The dichotomy between individualism and collectivism is basically nonexistent if all associations are voluntary.

  • Pananarchist?

I've lived in one of these nations with this nonexistent dichotomy you speak of. After one finished doing one's normal daily routine job, one was obligated or forced to do more work, other than one's own, on the weekdays, or sometimes during the weekends. One didn't get paid for this extra-curricular activity. It was done for the good of the people and the nation; for the greater good. Ironically, the government called it "Voluntary Work."

  • I agree. A government forcing people to do "voluntary" work isn't something I would support. People should be able to choose who they interact with and how they interact, on their own terms. That's not so say that people can't organize collectively and still interact on terms all members freely agree to though. I think a truly free society would permit the broadest range of interaction possible, from extreme collectivism to extreme individualism--so long as these interactions are not coerced.

  • I agree with everything you say here, as well but one thing: I wouldn't call what you describe as collectivism but individual cooperation. That is the point of the video and the philosophy of freedom; as well as the original founding fathers' intent as I've always understood it. Honesty, friendship, hard work, cooperation, decency and most important of all, INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY.

  • monopoly-capitalism...good discription for

all that, what is happening now. brillant

  • Such a brilliant communicator. In a matter of 10 minutes, he spontaneously cuts through and straightens out concepts that many people get tangled up in for their entire lifetimes.

And now you live in Treason:

Truth is Treason in the Empire of Lies. Dr. Ron Paul

  • this man is so clever

  • This is the first video I have seen of Edward Griffin and I already love the man! What a brilliant and succinct explanation of the problem.

  • A truely great American! Praise from an English hobbit who is coming to join in the march in Washington D.C in June!

  • What a consise, off the cuff explanation. A great thinker and someone who makes me proud to be an American. The rEVOLution is brewing.

  • Everyone should listen to what this man has to say.He wrote the amazing book A WORLD WITHOUT CANCER. Keep up the great work.

  • This guy knows what he's talking about. You can understand it out of pure logic, it's not a lie, or an attempt of pursuation for subtile goals.

He probebly has flaws, like everyone else, but he does an important job spreading truth, like ron paul does.

  • G. Edward Griffin... What an asset. It is people like him, that restore my hope in this country.

  • @farhadcoyote Your a zombie idiot who doesn´t understand the real issue. Twat

  • The people walking around in the background have no idea what they are missing.

  • This is a great interview and really highlights G. Edward Griffin's nimble mind, succinct clear speaking style, and brilliant ideas.

  • G. Edward is a Treasure

as is Farrakhan (if you truly understand his/their gifts)

  • I suggest everyone go to their local library and ask for his book, "Creature from Jekyll Island". Of course they won't have the book, but they may be willing to purchase it. My library did. Win-win situation: people become educated, and Mr. Griffin earns some money!

  • I read It! It is IT!

  • This man is a real-life hero.

While still part of this extraordinarily corrupt system, I feel so blessed have such easy access to digital film recorders and video-sharing websites such as YouTube. These innovations, when coupled together, are changing the course of history. No longer do we have to rely on someone else's subjective interpretation of another person, or the subjective interpretation of passed events.

  • Nice. He said a lot in a short time, very clearly.

I am currently reading his book, The Creature from Jekyll Island. I highly recommend it. I must warn you though, once you read it there is no going back. If you prefer to be blissfully ignorant don't. Once you read it you will probably feel like you need to do something about it.

One very important thing you can do is vote for Ron Paul in your 2008 Republican primary.

  • Regardless of the origin of the content, I applaud Mr. Griffin for his ability to eloquently express complex ideas verbally. Something many of us are not capable of (as indicated through mindless insults and accusations in the previous comments here) Perhaps Mullins was not as good of a communicator, in which case he would be thankful to Griffin for doing was he is doing.

  • Absolutally succint I applaude Mr Griffin,to some of these comments below-

Personal insults are the sign of a low intellectual, fine I will fight for your free speech butif you defend origionality, defend it with origionality,be an individual ,a thinker not a hipocrite.

  • Love what this guy is saying. Really gets to the core of the issue. He would be the first to praise mullins too so let's not bicker. The ideas are important, not the mouthpiece.

  • is that Bay Area California???

  • The Bay Area seems to Love Ron Paul... the amount of Libertarian/Republicans supporting Ron Paul in this area is overwhelming. I live in SF now and there are some here, but there where even more down south where I came from(Fremont/Sunnyvale) and many in the corridor as well(Dublin/Walnut Creek).

  • who cares if he copied it all from eustace whoever, i never heard of eustace mullins, but i have heard of G.Eward Griffin, who cares where it came from as long as its the truth and dissminated everywhere....

  • G. Edward Griffin is a cocksucking thief he stole the work of Eustace Mullins from the ground breaking original book Secrets of the Federal Reserve. Read them both then read the date of publication.

  • Pardon my French but the man is a scumbag and did no original work and reaped the benefits of someone else's work.

  • Great man; he founded Freedom Force International worth checking out!

  • This man is sooo manipulative! I don't take his bite.

  • Forget isms of every kind. It's about the rights of the individual. The Creature from Jeckyll Island is a enlightening revelation of a book and all sources are properly noted.

rafvrab - !? You'll have to clarify. Who or what do you accuse him of manipulating?

  • Fair question. This man asks you to misturst every form a establish authority, both political and religious, and then asks you to trust him. Is he the owner of truth, exclusive of everyone else? That is what I see clearly as manipulative... even if his preaching has a kernel of truth in it.

  • Truth is not to be owned. It is to be shared. Fine if he sells books. I think he gives them away, too. He is 'exclusive' in only that he is an idealist while most involved in politics are not. In fact most involved in politics are morally bankrupt sellouts to the banking elite. I agree with everything he says in this little speech. It would be nice if we could trust our governments, but time and time again they fail us/betray us.

  • Stop asking so many questions. He's been declared to be soooooo manipulative. Sooooo manipulative, in fact, that rafvrab is now tooooo confused to explain in exactly what way.

  • Oops, rafvrab, you did respond to the man. Your comment had been pushed off of the page.

Ok, no, he is not the "owner of truth". And how does he ask you to trust him? His idea is that you know how to best run your own life. He's "manipulating" you into thinking for yourself, I guess.

So am I. I have faith in you knowing what's good for you - more so than any of your "authorities" do. So what's your problem with him?

  • the Fed gets around the COnstitution because the people voluntarily endorse the private money on their paychecks... hence, its lawful under right to contract... For educational research purposes only

  • Fucking Excellent this man Griffin....

  • Get back on the phone and ask Eustace Mullins which Article; Section; Clause or Amendment in the U.S. Constitution gives the Federal Reserve the Power to issue paper bills and charge tax payers INTEREST? Just as I thought, NONE!

This means the Federal Reserve OWES the U.S. tax payers TRILLIONS!

Now, Prove this FACT WRONG or Sit On It!

  • Tell him brother.

  • I just talked on the phone to Eustace Mullins, he said Griffin is a plagiarist.

His book "THE CREATURE FROM JECKYL ISLAND" was coped from Mullins "The secret of the Fedral reserve"

    shalom

  • WOW. This is great. Thanks for posting.

I wish everyone would watch this.

  • this is a perfect example of the kinds of teachers that we should have. we need to come togther as individuals in the truth/freedom movement and take back this country

    Bravo

    Ron Paul 2008

  • I remember G. Edward Griffin well from my John Birch Society days back in the 1970s. Back then our biggest mistake as John Birchers was to ignore the two greatest questions of our time: preserving our race, and who controls the institution that threatens our race most..the media. The "individualism" vs. "collectivism" issue is off the mark. The John Birch Society will become a powerhouse institution as soon as Members inside the JBS shift the focus to the two key issues.

  • G. Edward Griffin is a great man who talked about the cure for cancer. God bless him and Ron Paul!

  • He's a Plagarist of the HIGHEST Degree he copied the work of Eustace Mullins' book Secrets of the Federal Reserve.

  • Induvidualism vs collectivism, that's way over-simplified.

  • no it ain't.

  • Everytime I hear this man speak I learn something very important.

  • This is excellent coverage of Griffin's superior analysis of the 2 choices we are divided among: Colectivism or Individualism...which defines you? Griffin's Norman Dodd video is best seen on Google video as it is the entire interview.

  • I visited the freedomforce org and read some of the stuff writen by this great man and I can now say that I finally get it. Democracy is evil because the mob rules. Constitution is there to restrain the mob and protect all the individuals, thus the Republic.

  • I read "The Creature From Jekyll Island in 1996 and met with G. Edward Griffin in Arizona at a Summer convention. Get and read the book. You will be amazed! Register Republican and vote for Ron Paul ... Our Country and ultimately our individual FREEDOM depend on your support.

  • Cool! And extra cool because I'm in the back at some points during the shot :PppP

  • My goodness, this video knocked my socks off.

  • "O" for Awesome!!!

great stuff,, if anyone hasnt seen Mr Griffins interview with Norman Dodd check it out, it is fascinating history

  • Bravo.

  • my kinda guy! let's hope there are many who can see the insight he is sharing with us...

  • What a great guy. Our meetup group in Long Beach had dinner with Mr. Griffin just last night. So genuine and enlightening. A real pleasure to meet this man. We were humbled in the midst of greatness.

  • G. Edward Griffin is amazing! He could be a great VP for Ron Paul! I'm reading his book right now "The Creature from Jekyll Island". In fact guess who gave an endorsement on the back cover?!? RON PAUL!! Here's what Ron Paul said about this book "A superb analysis deserving serious attention by all Americans. Be prepared for one heck of a journey through time and mind."

  • That was incredibly interesting. I'm going to have to listen to it a few more times.

  • I am so glad I was able to be there and meet Dr. Ron Paul, G Edward Griffin, and Joe Bannister. And to hear all this in person. A real blessing. RON PAUL for Presidnet NOW! -=Rob Widit

  • This is what happens when Government begins to control state education by either choking off or lending more money to particular states of their choosing in essense bringing down the competativeness(individuality) of students thriving to learn and express themselves.

  • watch "stupid in america - 20/20" here's how it works, teachers and schools are given money, that's it, they could have 20 students or 200 students, they still get paid, that's a monopoly, the education system isn't providing the service they're being paid to provide, in a free market, the schools would need to beg students to enrol or they would simply go broke.

  • Our educational system is entirely misguided and corrupt even to the extent of to say, collective brainwashing. The reason being that a number of teachers forget or fear expressing their own individuality, all the while never encourageing others to express theirs.

  • Wow,

This guy ought to be Ron Paul's VP. This is one very smart man. It really shows you how much people that really hate individualism. Think about a lot of the college professors and mainstream media teaching this to our children from youth to adulthood directly and indirectly. Talk about a mass deception. Unbelievable!

  • Ron Paul For PResident 2008! Impeach Bush & Cheney Restore Our Republic

  • Ayn Rand had it right. Collectivism does nothing but destroy.

  • Great interview. This guy is clearly one of the most intellectual and educated guys on this subject (that is telling the truth anyway...), and from what he says, one can draw a clear consion: VOTE RON PAUL ;)

He is an individualist, and he uses many of the same terms and explanations as this guy.

  • vote ron paul

I am doing it for america's future.

  • What a great question- whats the difference between Ron Pauls brand of capitalism compared with the brand of the creatures from jekyl island. And the answer is a wonderful surprise and very illuminating. This is a 10 STAR flick! Fantastic.

  • Please send something each payday to ww w .ronpaul2008.c0m\donate . He needs it!!! THX

  • I just learned of all this stuff this year. I just turned 30 and I wish I knew these things 12 years ago.

  • This guy is brilliant. Excellent, clear thinker. Individualism is clearly superior to collectivism. Think people. Loved it. More videos of G. Edward Griffin please.

  • i was there at the rally. i bought 3 ron paul signs and i put them along highway 101 in prundale. there is heavy traffic there every weekend going towards monterey. if your coming around this area make sure to keep your eyes out for them. This is what we all got to do. make people hear ron paul.

  • I'd say the internet is a perfect example of the "free market". Do we have monopolies? Is it not working out? No we have tons of competition and so many products and services we can't get to them all. The internet is the first truly free market example and it is flourishing.

  • i agree wholeheartedly. that is why it is important to reject "net neutrality" type bills. what the government can regulate, it can control. to see the other interviews/footage from this rally, please go to the websites listed in the video description.

  • Read his book "Creature from Jekyll Island". Good read.

Another definition of capitalism "someone who lives on interest". Jim

  • If I'm not mistaken, that is a definition for capitalist. They live off the interest of thier investments.

  • schulwitz, that was a low blow.

Griffin founded The Cancer Cure Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to research in alternative cancer therapies.

He has advocated a treatment with Amygdalin, found in bitter apricot kernels. He has never said it is a cure, it is a TREATMENT. You are purposely distorting the facts. Nobody would reccomend bitter apricot kernels in the way that you imply: they contain Prussic acid (cyanide). Amygdalin is isolated to control the dose.

    RP2008

  • For someone who thinks cancer can be cured with apricot seeds, he sure seems intelligent.

  • Yeah, that almost seems as crazy as pumping toxic chemicals into the body.

  • haha. touche. his documentary on laetril is very important, as are his documentaries on the u.n. and the "capitalist conspiracy". check em out!

  • I liked his Creature book. Medicinal cures? Who knows? People die and are apparently cured at the hands of many medicines: allopathic, homeopathic, anthroposophic, etc. The individual should be the voluntary laboratories and success will lead people to the cure. Once codified into law as the ONLY cure, any progress would be hindered greatly. I really feel bad for leeches though. First they're in. Then they're out. Then in again. Honestly, what's a leech to think?

  • I had a fatty lymph node bout as big as a quarter, and after vitamin B complex for about two weeks, it went away. Also, i didn't know it, but i had one under my chin, and it just popped out one day. gross... but oh so satisfying.

  • WOW!!! Extremely well said!!! Attention citizens of earth... Here it is so take notice. Most of the world's problems can be solved by understanding the basic idea -- that of the individual vs. the collective -- that is talked about in this video. The solution is with the INDIVIDUAL.

  • Thanks! I'm still have lot of things to learn.
