Funny thing when ppl say SP is used for train the dogs for killing other dogs, but why dont these dogs bite each other if that was the case :p i would love to do some SP with my dog but there is no place where i can set the thing up, becuse if i do it somwhere nere "normal" ppl they will yell and call the police. Its obvious these dogs are not being fought/or bred for fighting. Fighting dogs would not play nice with one rope like this, they would be more concerned with each other than the rope.
@agilitydogtrainer1 Its pretty obvious these dogs arent being trained to fight. I mean look at them, they are at least 10kgs bigger than the kind of APBTs that are used in fights.
@agilitydogtrainer1 Springpole is a very healthy excercise that takes a lot of energy. They love to work and this does not make the dog more aggressive in any way. This is no different than youre golden retriever loving to fetch a tennis ball. And you cant train your dog to fight, hes not a boxer that does what his trainer tells him to do. You can get your dog in shape but he won't start throwing left hooks no matter how much training :)
@agilitydogtrainer1 Spring poles are strictly for excersizing. Not training one to fight. you can tell this guy is a responsible owner. If he was going to fight them he would've been training them since they were small and they'd probably be dead right now.

@menarson, i think you should do a little more research on spring poles and their actual purpose/use. My dogs are not fighters, nor are they even ever aggressive towards each other and we use the spring pole specifically for exercise purpose. It gives them a great workout and they really enjoy it.
omg they look almost identical to my two boys Mojo & Boss...except Mojo's not that short and has more white and Boss is only 8 weeks!! Plus, Mojo's not into ropes or toys. He just runs and pulls. But Boss is only 8 weeks and he gets on a spring pole!!!

@aglam85 Yeah we always watch them real close when they are allowed to play on the spring pole together, so far we have not had any problems, but def understand the risk.

I love all the dogs, I had a lot of pit bulls since 1990, and now I have Dogo Argentino, but I must tell you - when I see these dogs I see parody to pit bull. Like people have no better thing to do, than imaging some new breeds. I mean, look at him-he barely jumps. APBT= strength + agility + heartiness. What more can you imagine.

Its obvious these dogs are not being fought/or bred for fighting. Fighting dogs would not play nice with one rope like this, they would be more concerned with each other than the rope.

@agilitydogtrainer1 Springpole is a very healthy excercise that takes a lot of energy. They love to work and this does not make the dog more aggressive in any way. This is no different than youre golden retriever loving to fetch a tennis ball. And you cant train your dog to fight, hes not a boxer that does what his trainer tells him to do. You can get your dog in shape but he won't start throwing left hooks no matter how much training :)

@agilitydogtrainer1 Spring poles are strictly for excersizing. Not training one to fight. you can tell this guy is a responsible owner. If he was going to fight them he would've been training them since they were small and they'd probably be dead right now.

@agilitydogtrainer1 Why are people interested in dog fighting. It's terrible i had to put one of my dogs down because of aggression. It was the most disgusting sound when they fought. The other dog is now very suspicious of other dogs, and only will play after making sure other dogs are not going to attack him.

@menarson, i think you should do a little more research on spring poles and their actual purpose/use. My dogs are not fighters, nor are they even ever aggressive towards each other and we use the spring pole specifically for exercise purpose. It gives them a great workout and they really enjoy it.

omg they look almost identical to my two boys Mojo & Boss...except Mojo's not that short and has more white and Boss is only 8 weeks!! Plus, Mojo's not into ropes or toys. He just runs and pulls. But Boss is only 8 weeks and he gets on a spring pole!!!

i got a black and white pit that dose the same thing but when ever my neighbors see him doing it they freak out and say im training him to fight and even reported me to the town dog catcher for dog fighting training
