A big disadvantage of the MP5 family is that their barrels are pinned in, and are not hand removable. This is a major pain in the ass, regardless of it's light weight and precision.
Personally I think because of the complexities of this 1960's design, the MP5 should be phased out in favor of something new, like BT MP9 or PP2000, though I admit the costs wouldn't justify it.
uzi is totall load of shit :- its bad accuracy prob due to its open bolt, a lot recoil. mp5 its verants and german made clones:- very accurate, closed bolt, low recoil, can be used in single shot, relaible well made, accurate to 150m
No. MP5A5kovax is pretty much right. The MP5 stands for "Maschinenpistole" in german which means "Machine Pistol" in English. Not "Military and Police"...

'M' usually stands for 'Model'. So an M1911 is a Model1911. AK stands for "Avtomat Kalashnikova" (Kalashnikov's automatic rifle) and 47 is the year it was designed, 1947.
anyone compared it with the gsg-5....the gsg-5 strips simular to the hk exept that the rails, guid springs and and firing pin are contained together in a block
Thats not a original HK MP5. It's a Brügger und thomet BT 96 carbine from switzerland, It's a only semi auto gun. I have the same and I love this smg.
He handles it so delicately

Too many parts!!! I have been watching a video about UZI disassembly and, despite it's weight, it's much more simple to disassemble and clean.
regisaugusto1 1 year ago
Fairly simple, but I've seen simplier designs.

It is not broken, yet. But it is better to do something before it breaks.

Do you own / have you fired an uzi??
uzi is totall load of shit :- its bad accuracy prob due to its open bolt, a lot recoil. mp5 its verants and german made clones:- very accurate, closed bolt, low recoil, can be used in single shot, relaible well made, accurate to 150m
hardman476 2 years ago
I have shot both at shooting ranges in the States.
the uzi is more reliable and faster reloads, but the mp5 is better in everything else. I like uzi because its simpler design
dont lecture me

and the song sounds funny or more lik the german church songs no offence

The title is disassembly of H&K. One is supposed to memorize and reverse this operation. ;-)
The music is a popular corsican folk song.
