Apart from chastising him from wanting to withdraw from corrupt and unlawful entities and wrongfully suggesting he's an isolationist, you start to sound pissed off at Ron Paul for not being an anarchist? Libertarians aren't anarchists, and state level laws allow more people to be adequately represented.
When did he say he was fighting for civil liberties? He said he wanted to take the governemtn out of authority on the issues of civil liberty. Leaving it up to the states would make it so each one could individually decide.
I'm a gay man and completely support Ron Paul. He speaks frankly about what he believes and VOTES accordingly in the House. Since people have always - and will always - try to force what they feel is right on others, Rep. Paul wants to allow certain constitutional rights to be protected by the Federal government but then allow the states to have more power. Moving to a different state is easy compared to relocating to a different country. Also, it's easier to fight the state than the Fed gov.
Ron Paul is pro-life because he realizes that life begins at conception and that abortion itself is COERCION by the woman and the abortionist on the life of the unborn. If you're for FREEDOM, you should be pro-life.
I don't agree with Paul on everything, but this video is totally wrong.
Why do libertarians think we we should give all the money to the rich so they can make it rain down hundred dollar bills for us. That's how they want to create jobs..? ignorance.
Ron Paul and all his supporters are part of the most uniformed and deluded segments of society. They have no clue what USA used to be like when we had progressive tax/trade polices. That is when we had a strong middle class. When we closely resembled the thriving social democracies of euro states like Germany today.
Paul is not for "giving money" to the rich; he's for letting them KEEP the money that THEY EARNED. We still have progressive tax policies; wtf are you smoking? Increasing taxes on the rich IN NO WAY helps the middle class.
@MrFoxispropaganda Ron wants to get rid of the "Federal Departments". That's where corporate welfare comes from. They are where Foreign "Aid" comes from. They are where subsidies for coal, oil, etc... companies come from. Ron wants to end the World Policeman role for the U.S. much to the dismay of the Military Industrial Complex. Ron is against The WTO, NAFTA, etc... and promotes Fair Trade over so-called Free Trade...I think you are uninformed and deluded. Note: Fox hates Ron...wonder why?
@MrFoxispropaganda Part 2) All those Gov. Dept.s were not created to help you...or me. They were created to help well connected people leach money out of the Federal Budget. Ron wants to close down most of the 700 U.S. foreign military bases. We pay hundreds of billions in rent every year for those bases. Rons ideas of Fair Trade would get us back closer to where we were before the corporations took over. Go watch some of Rons personal videos on the issues.
If you have a message deliver it. Don't jerk it up and down. Don't play music over it. Don't put on screen and decide for us how long it will take us to read. Just deliver the fucking message.
Free Trade doesn't require bureaucratic agreements like NAFTA or the WTO. All they do is violate US sovereignty and hinders actual free trade.
Ron Paul doesn't support ANY government coercion. He simply recognizes the power of Federalism and the problem with the Federal Government having absolute power over the States.
If you actually read Ron Paul's writings, like The Revolution, you would already know this. Now stop the Straw Men.
Ron Paul is the only one who speaks for the people. If you ever watch him on CNN, MSNBC, FOX you always nod your head in agreement for the 5 minutes that he is on your screen.
He is the leader of the Republican party. What is laughable is that the Republican party is so disconnected from their constituents that not even they know it yet.
Freedom is a very popular thing. So fasten your seatbelt VooDoo, for we are in the infant stages of the 2nd American Revolution.
@VoodooPolitics101 -- You're correct about derivatives market being bad but that's it. Anyone can look at a good thing and pick out something bad. If you have a perfectly fine pie but someone puts poison in it, that's not proof that pies are bad. That's only proof that the correct way to make the pie wasn't really followed. The vast majority of the directly were followed but once the poison is introduced past correct steps don't matter. (Lol, first example that came to my mind.)
This video is nonsense... we have the world's greatest economy, not because of our government, but inspite of it... the government has tanked Amtrak, for a loss for the past 30 years, has propped up failed business, caused inflation by printing new money and had the fed fuel irresponsibility on wall st and the housing market because they have poured cheap credit into the equation... Then we actually get an example of markets working recently as the I-phone gets slashed in half...
Ron Paul is trying to get people to follow social policy that falls in line with the CONSTITUTION. States do have rights that the federal government never should. Read the constitution and learn for yourself.
lets see the va is the most irregulated hospital ever. time and time again thro out history when the govt stays out of a problem the situation always improved education we all know that fails. cops we all see the forming police state. fda well most food is modified and diabites is on the rise. dea aressting 1000s of people nationwide for victomles crimes. cdc lets shoot up 39 shots in to kids autism is 1-10 up 900% since the govt got involved. Has the govt done any good solving issues? not yet
yes voodoo lets not keep our liberties in california propisition 215 proved states laws are the finial word. Yes i know getting up and taking action will requior action but i know you can do it. Get into politics and do real research on what this american hero ron paul is talking about. He is pro liberty and pro choice even when that choice is viewed as wrong. God help us we have a politician fighting for our rights and all you want to do is try to ruin his name you sir are a fool
He is against civil liberty? Have you listened to anything he said? He advocates state cohersion?
Well he is arguing against Federal government intrusion. So i suppose state cohersion yes. But where is he against civil liberties?
Why not organise and fight your own liberties in your state? and the next state can do it to.
What you are actually arguing is that YOUR state is against civil liberties. Your assuming that with out Fed gov. your state will crush civil liberties.
since ron paul thinks that government has no place in your marriage , hes anti-gay?
and how oh how did america ever make it with out the united nations? nafta or gat? how have we made it this far ? we are lucky we dont all speak russian or german. wheren't we an economic power house before nafta and gat? howd that happen since nafta and gat make it possible .check the economy now.
smartest thing you did with this was turn off the ratings
It's not a failed idealogy, it's actually mainstream. This is normal, VooDoo. But we need fringe elements like you in our society, it's what makes the world go round.
You wrote, "It's not a failed idealogy, it's actually mainstream. This is normal, VooDoo. But we need fringe elements like you in our society, it's what makes the world go round."
Is that why Ron Paul got less than 5% of Republican votes in the last presidential primaries ? I mean less than 5% from already shrunken Republican party.
another ignorant American who beleives CFR media polls and the "results" of electronic voting macines. notice New Hampshire wanted a Primary recount and got the funding, but still got squashed. This lends to the powerful manipulation of e-voting machines, why don't you make a video about that?
furthermore you go off the deep-end of ignorance by putting some eye-cathcing production values into a half-assed anti-Ron Paul video that hasn't exactly taken off in view counts. failed.
The guys who believe in "9/11 was an inside job" will believe in any conspiracy theory.
hey do you know the US government is involved in PROJECT VENUS-XX2. The inside sources say that it's designed to bring the residents of planet Neptune to planet Earth and train them to take over farms in Northern Indiana.
Vodoo you fail to realize that all you present are your opinions. Your opinions in no way reflect any truth or factual evidence. It is clear that you have no education or any understanding in economics, social science, politics and government. Seeing as you have failed to supply any educational responses in your debate. I can only take it you are nothing more then an ignorant mind who bases all politics on opinion. We the Pauls at least show an understanding of the facts in the law, you don't.
Voodoo throughout your argument you also show that you cannot under any circumstances show a well rounded and educational response to any issue. That much is clear, because I look up what the law and what history says and neither condons the actions you wish to take. Your final attempt in the argument was nothing more then an immature, as well as childish, display of a sad mind attempting to do nothing but insult and act vulgar. It is clear to me that you lack a proper response in the debate.
You also show nothing but a failed attempt to make me angry in the debate. Sir that is nothing short of childish and shows the true character of your person. All you have done is use the weakest arguments you can make in hopes of making me lash out at you. When that failed you took the low road to do nothing but attack me. It is clear to me now that your videos have in no way reflected an educational response, but rather an attempt to attack Ron Paul. Sir you have shown me how weak you side is.
1. NATFA has hurt American workers, and MILLIONS of Mexican farmers have lost their jobs/land b/c of it, compounding illegal immigration. Other trade organizations simply hamper trade by involving gov't instead of letting people do it themselves.
2. It's not isolation, Paul is a big adovcate of free trade, unlikely to pass any tariffs, trade protections, etc.
3. Trade organizations have benefitted mainly trans-national shipping corporations, not workers.
4. I'm not an economist, but free trade > state backed corporatism.
5.The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. - 10th Amendment.
6. What state would pass a law limiting womens rights? It's not the 40s.
7. Gay marriage must be decided at a state level. I'm for it, but it's naive to assume that DOMA will be repealed, or the fed gov't forcing states to recognize ss marriage.
Wow he supports more power for the State. So you mean you want some dumbass in New York telling me in Arizona how I should live?
The Constitution says, (if you actually read it you would know, and if you actually read history you would understand) that any law not determined by the Federal power shall be determined by the STATE.
So if a STATE like oh let's say Massachusetts wants gay marriage and Alabama doesn't, then shouldn't that be up for them to decide? Oh the again you're just a sheep
Wow Voodoo you are stupid. Looks like you failed to recognize that self isolation doesn't affect economic growth at all. They're two completely different subjects. You dumbass the UN and NATO rely on us for troops and money. We would keep more money for ourselves, cause you (the uneducated who makes claims on what he thinks rather then what is actual truth) fail to realize that 70% of UN money comes from the US. Isolation for military, not economically. Take a goddamn economics class
The WTO and NAFTA are causing economic problems. Also remember that countries like Switzerland are able to remain neutral and they still have a great economic system. Neutral just means we don't have alliances, but who our companies do business with is completely different.
WTO and NAFTA are socialist systems, and socialism doesn't work, just look at the Soviet Union
There's also a movement within Switzerland to integrate it into the EU, without it's free trade agreement with the EU Switzerland would be screwed. WTO and NAFTA are socialist how? :D please tell this some socialist economist (and I mean the real ones) ... I'm pretty sure they wouldn't just mildly disagree.
Just because Switzerland might join the EU doesn't mean that they all of a sudden are no longer neutral. Socialism is when the government regulates trade and the economy. China is another socialist country that exists. However China is rising in economic power because it basically uses its workers as slaves. They don't have any of the benefits that people in the US and the EU do.
Being neutral is for political reasons, not economic reasons.
NAFTA = EU. The final goal of NAFTA seems to be an EU-esque state, so which system is socialist, how?
China is treating its workers like shit, true. How would a "liberated china" treat its workers? China is about as socialist as the US is a democracy, worker's have no rights, people have no rights, there is no social security and shitty health coverage. How's that socialist? China is a free-market-nationalistic dictatorship with communist roots, not socialist!
What NAFTA did was allow American corporations, like GM, to outsource their companies to Mexico. Remember when GM moved? It totally destroyed Flint, MI.
These companies don't have to nearly as much to workers or give them benefits. While in Mexico these businesses put the Mexican businesses out of business. Then they moved from Mexico to other countries. That completely destroyed the Mexican economy.
Okay, I do know that the EU stands for European Union, I'm a citizen of it so I've heard that before. ;)
NAFTA is an effort to integrate the 3 economies of Canada, US and Mexico. The EU was and is motivated by the same!
NAFTA didn't invent outsourcing, it made it easier. And if you'd know just a little bit about RP you would know that he doesn't oppose that. He doesn't oppose global free-trade. Part of that global free-trade is the free-trade of labor. Full circle!
Making faces doesn't help your side. In fact it actually hurts it.
I know what I said, but remember that NAFTA opened up free trade in all of North America. Therefore, powerful American businesses over powered Canada and Mexico
And are you serious? RP is against outsourcing? Man dude you are watching the wrong shit, if you knew a little about RP you would know he's against outsourcing
Are you trolling me? I said RP is not against outsourcing! It is you who brings up the outsourcing again and again, and links it to 'the evils of NAFTA' while I question how in RP's libertarian utopia this would be different at all? How exactly would Mexican labor unions be stronger in a free-trade-free-market world? How exactly would corporations outsource less, if they are controlled even less?
You don't question anything except? "What evidence?"
In a free market, companies can compete. Now let me ask you a question, why did the United States only start outsourcing when things like NAFTA started appearing?
Free-trade allows people to compete, whereas the WTO basically says who can trade with who.
In a free market all the corporations had to go through Mexico before going to other countries because they weren't held down by the law of the US anymore.
"why did the United States only start outsourcing when things like NAFTA started appearing?"
Because the NAFTA started a liberalization of trade between said three countries! AGAIN: Ron Paul is all for free trade between countries, in this free trade scenario there will ALSO NOT be laws to "hold down" companies in the US. All the WTO does is set limits, you apparently want limits if you don't want companies to outsource to other countries. You don't make sense!
Ron Paul is for free trade. However he's against our corporations from taking advantage of people. Imagine what happens when more businesses are allowed to start and allowed to start competing, these major corporations don't want competition. The more competition there is, the more big business will suffer.
You don't provide an argument. WTO says who can trade with who and for what. If a country wants to say its product is worth this much, the WTO comes out and says no it's worth this much
Wrong. He's against corporation taking advantage of government. Free-markets mean more competition, not perfect competition. Less regulation means improved abilities of SMEs to compete with MNEs not perfect abilities. Small companies are insignificant for most mature markets and FM policies will not change that! Thus, for most mature markets this FM approach won't change a thing! Scale advantages in R&D and Marketing will continue to marginalize any competition from small companies.
I know you didn't say perfect, and I know you didn't mean perfect. Yet, these oligopoly-over-throwing forces you've suggested ONLY work in perfect competitions. "big-business-suffering" otherwise would mean 'a short time of readjustment to new market conditions'. What kind of radical change would that be?
Just one more detail: If Switzerland is - from you point of view I assume - pretty socialist and after you've just admitted that socialism can have a "great economic system" - where's you point for libertarianism?
If you tell me the freakin' neoliberal WTO is socialist then surely Switzerland must be socialist too. You libertarians and right wingers seem to through the 'socialist' around rather easily. Of course Switzerland isn't socialist in the traditional sense, but if you consider the US to be socialist than Switzerland is socialist too! Switzerland only employs a different kind of democracy, in many other respects its absolutely comparable.
Typical, you don't use facts to support your side. GIve me a country, give me an organization, show me how in the past that your side of the argument has worked/failed
FOR WHAT? I'd gladly give it to you. But we are talking about multiple things!! W.H.A.T. would you like to have evidence for? Please, for the love of god, for which claim that I brought up do you need me to give you more evidence?
Oh you cocky little asshole. You've so far demonstrated rather impressively how little you know about what you are saying. "go easy on me" sir you've been incredibly easy so far already don't make yourself any weaker, please! Do you have a degree in business, or is it your life long experience in global trade which provides you with this rather impressive intellectual foundation in economics?
Well the WTO regulates who and what countries can trade. If you really want a free market system, then the corporations need to make decisions for themselves not what a government wants. Also, NAFTA is causing problems for all the economies in North America, especially Mexico. It allows corporations to outsource and take advantage of people. NAFTA allows corporations to take advantage of poorer countries. Like corporations that were once in Mexico outsourced to other countries.
You don't know how NAFTA works do you. NAFTA allows corporations in America to establish themselves in Mexico, then those same corporations can outsource to other countries.
So if big US corporations go to Mexico because they don't have to give the same benefits to Mexican workers as American workers then we lose jobs. While there, they put the Mexican corporations out of business and then outsource from Mexico to countries like India.
Of course NAFTA does that, my question was how 'free-trade-free-markets' would change that!
We are not arguing about what NAFTA does, we are arguing about how it is socialist and primarily here how whatever it does would be different in a free-trade-free-market system.
Any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.
In a free-market system it allows businesses to compete within their own country. NAFTA opened the door for outsourcing to Mexico. Corporations originally couldn't outsource because there it was too big of a risk.
Yeah but you are using them in a contradicting fashion. Outsourcing will NOT be eliminated/reduced or anything in a RP scenario! With less governmental interaction (which RP wants) markets indeed will be more efficient, they will make more use of global markets and weaker positions in them. You have to choose, either you are for free-markets and for outsourcing or you are against free-markets (in the lib sense) and against excessive outsourcing. It doesn't make any sense otherwise!
Yes it will because it will close down the exporting to Mexico, that's where most of these companies go before going to countries like China.
If Mexico can start competing again it can improve its society, rather then having all their businesses shut down because of powerful American companies
close down the exporting to Mexico? exporting what? labor? No it won't. RP is for that, he is for free-trade between countries. How exactly is Mexico not competing right now and where the hell does China fit into all of this?
In RP's world jobs will still be outsourced to Mexico and China. I asked you how labor will be any stronger in RPs free-market world, you are not reacting to it. I asked you how exactly companies would outsource less, you are not reacting. If companies aren't FORCED to produce at higher costs in the US they will not do it. They will only do it if the US can produce something which other countries can't (comparative advantage).
they have the advantage because they don't pay their outsourced workers what they have to pay the US workers.
no one forces these countries to produce at higher costs
Oh by the way China can produce goods far cheaper and way faster then us. That's why they are becoming one of the major economic powers in the world. More countries want to buy from them rather then us. China has the comparative advantage.
Hu? I never said china that doesn't have a comparative advantage, that would be insane, especially when it comes to labor costs! I was referring to "something" which the US can produce yet other countries can't: that would be some high-tech stuff or financial services for example... Why the hell are you calling me a dumbass? Did I also call you a dumbass before and now all's fair game?
I find Ron Paul's ideas rather insane like allowing unpasteurized milk for human consuming.
He tries to define every human events from a looking glass of his ideology and ends up with very impractical and at times very dangerous conclusions which leads him to promote solutions that are dead ludicrous.
First off Ron Paul was a physician. Do you know that the chemicals that they use are extremely dangerous? The hormones in pasteurized milk are actually dangerous. Some scientist actually believe these chemicals can cause cancer. But the FDA turns a blind eye because of the profits that are made.
He looks at human events the way they happen and from a perspective of our Constitution. I have no idea where the hell you think his ideas are dangerous because every single one is safe
For your info: Pasteurization process does not involve adding of any chemicals or hormones, it's ONLY A HEATING PROCESS perfected to kill vast majority of harmful HEAT SENSITIVE pathogenic micro-organisms.
Get your knowledge on Pasteurization process straighten up.
Wow you are such an idiot. Of course pasteurized milk has hormones in it. Of course it needs to be heated but you have no idea what the real problem is. He's against putting harmful chemicals. Maybe you should learn the truth rather then sprouting BS
People like you are pathetic. You come out and slander RP on issues without providing any real facts. Pathetic. You say he has no support yet you have to disable your rating because you know what will happen. Get educated you idot
I dont wonder anymore why loons like you cant convince voters to vote for Ron Paul. As soon as someone disagrees with you guys based on long proven scientific facts you guys come down to name calling.
Narrow minded and mean spirited militant-like approach of you guys will make sure your candidate will have no influence whatsoever on debates on any issue.
Keep up with your mean spirited name calling narrow minded approach...way to go for you guys.
This is coming from the guy who calls Ron Paul insane and then whines about being attacked?
"Get you knowledge on Pasteurization process straighten up"
that's not mean spirited? That's just sad
At least Ron Paul videos don't have to disable their video ratings. Way to make a false argument without any facts. What do you guys do? Slander Ron Paul non-stop then hide behind the most pathetic arguments you can make. Way to go
Me silent? Nah, I thought you had finally learned, but like they say, "the weakest dog barks the loudest."
I like how resort to Somalia as your only tactic, considering it isn't a Libertarian state whatsoever. It doesn't have a government whereas we believe that in the original Constitution. Too bad they don't teach that in Canada or Great Britain.
Plus you're a hypocrite. Don't you remember how I used Zimbabwe as an example? Now look who's trying to make the same comment he critized. Sad!
Of course the weakest dogs like you bark all over the internet because the Main Stream Media threw your ring leader into a dumpster .MSM gives your ring leader some face time when they feel they need some theatrical effects.
I was not the first to claim Somalia as a libertarian society. Your spiritual institution Mises Institute claims it. So I more of less come to believe Mises Institute is correct to say Somalia is a libertarian society. Zimbabwe is not only country to print money.
You are an idiot, Bark means attacking and insulting. That's all you've done. I present facts, though I do act like an ass sometimes, at least I have proof to back up my side.
I don't care about Mises Institute, guess what idiot I think you forget which one of us is the Libertarian here. Then again that seems to be all you can resort to.
Zimbabwe is not the only country to print money, but they are the prime example to what happens when a country prints too much money.
Unfortunately you forget that Somalia is overrun with corruption and violence. It's a third world country that has been suffering from civil war and corruption.
Who is your leader voodoo? Stalin? Hitler? Or the Banks?
I presume again you failed to watch IOUSA for the purpose of not wanting to be proved wrong.
You want to give a small elite group total and absolute power. That my friend is how Nazi Germany came to be. Do you have a swatzika tattoo?
Nazi Germany.ohh well, to promote Neo-Nazi activities by Neo-Nazi sympathizers are one of the prime reasons why Neo-Nazis are actively supporting your ring leader, David Duke, Don Black, Randy Gray among the most prominent of these men.
When you talk about Nazi Germany next time, first look at your own back yard.
I don't care what the Neo-Nazis think all that shows is how weak of an argument you have. They at least know how an economy runs, they know that there is an economic crisis, and Ron Paul is the only one who has a workable solution. Promote Neo-Nazi activity what a load of crap! What are you talking about him being racist again.
Take the 1 little thing and try to make a big deal out of it! You really are pathetic
You wrote in your last post, "2. the FED is a private bank"
If you think FED is a private bank, the Congress should have no business running it or try to dictate what it should do. Are you Barack Obama's 2nd incarnation trying to run every private enterprise ?
Shows exactly how much you know voodoo! The FED is run by a board of private bankers with 1 Federal worker that oversees it. He doesn't participate he just watches. Also Congress doesn't tell it what it should do. Congress just borrows money from it that they have to pay back with interest. So all our tax money goes back to the bankers. Plus I hate Obama cause he's another lying sack of crap who is working for Wall Street
Why not tell your ring leader to be honest and his actual motives. Why not make it clear that your ring leader wants to run and dictate "private bank" hiding behind the powers of Congress.
Why not make it clear your ring leader wants become "mini-Barack Obama" . I might not like it but I will at least appreciate for his honesty.
Ron Paul wants to eliminate the Federal Reserve, he wants to bring back the gold standard and sound money. He supports auditing the FED so that we can find out where OUR money went. Didn't you argue with me before that this is exactly what YOU wanted, whereas I said we were for getting rid of the FED?
Ron Paul supporters are very anti-Obama and the fact that you keep trying to hide behind a pathetic statement even though that's what YOU believe in
Jealousy is human nature and I dont really fault your ring leader for his jealousy that Obama is running big private corporations. So your ring leader is gunning for even bigger prize, the FED.
Woow, all these big talks about the Constitution is only a smoke screen to carry out his actual motives. This is really disturbing.
I used to think, he is just a mentally screwed crap, now it seems it's just a big act to secure his deeply disturbing motives.
Wow Voodoo that's really what you have to resort to?
Ron Paul was the only politician in the entire race that had NO CORPORATE BACKING. You were the one that wants the bankers to control our government and our money. Sounds like tyranny to me and every other sound minded person in America.
Wow the guy who uses nothing but smokscreens tries to use a smokescreen statement to his advantage.
It really disturbs me to see how psychologically disabled you are. Twisting words to work for you
That you Voodoo wanted the FED to control our government and for them to make all of our economic decisions without question. Sounds like you're more for a dictatorship. Let the bankers control the people rather then having the people control themselves. It makes me wonder who you really are working for?
You made it pretty clear what his actual motives are and I dont need any more justifications on how your ring leader secures his motives of the biggest power grab.
This is the biggest attempt at the biggest power grab by anyone in history. Other try to do it by winning presidential elections. Your ring leader wants to do it without winning one. Nice short-cut huh ?
Why don't you be honest, cause it's obvious you keep lying and changing your words in hopes of keeping up in the argument where it's very clear you don't have one
Next time dont give me big lectures on the Constitution. Just be honest on what your ring leader wants. Now I see no reason to listen through that long winding road to power grab of running and dictating the money making machine. After all your ring leader still has that burning desire to become the president of the US. It's been proven that it takes 100s of millions of $ to win presidential elections. Money has come from somewhere right ?
I dont even need to win anymore. You and your ring leader's motive has become pretty clear. I see absolutely no reason to win.
When it comes to the 'big act' of trying to show off as the defender of the Constitution frogs like you really are winners. I no longer address you craps as frogs. 'Snakes' or 'serpents' will be the more accurate description of you nasty people.
Wow you really just showed me your true character. Nothing more but a cowardly weak minded person who can't think for himself. You have no argument but rather attack. Maybe you should watch IOUSA and learn what the REAL economist think. OH that's right you don't want to learn the truth do you?
Some people call abortion a civil liberty. Some people call it murder. Strictly speaking, it is the unjustified killing of a human life. Seems it is the very definition of murder. Ron Paul doesn't want to take away a civil liberty, he just wants to protect the innocent from self-absorbed, self-righteous sociopaths.
The problem with VoodooPolitics101 is that he is just regurgitating myths left over from the 2008 elections, If you watch Ron Paul on CSPAN, you would have a completely different idea and opinion about him. Its easy to follow, Yet hard to lead. Take it straight from the Politic's mouth and be informed.
In accusing RP's favorite of government coercion,Voodoo failed to recognize the difference between "federal level" and "state level",failed to understand the U.S constitutin.
Since when is following the "Rule of Law" re-branding failed ideology ?
Example - The "Federal Reserve" - Central Bank is unconstitutional, so it shouldn't have been in play in the first place. The leaders of the United States have been on the wrong path for a 100 years. Time to revisit "The Rule of Law". Read the constitution for starts...
God boots, you are so obsessed with the fed aren't you. I meet you again and again and its always about the bloody gold standard and the fed... Aren't there other things that bother you?
Hey if the "Federal Reserve" wasn't in charge of the "World Reserve" currency I would observe the debacle like I observe Mugabe running Zimbabwe into the ground. I feel bad for the locals, and thank the Creator that he didn't place me in that country. The US has been printing up "Gold" for 35 years, the free-world looks to it for strength. What happens to value of the US dollar reflects directly on my standard of living. Civilization is built on the value of the US dollar.
No but my point was that you seem to be rather caught up in all this FED/Gold standard nonsense (which you impressively demonstrated yet again) while seemingly ignoring all other issues... and I didn't mean Zimbabwe's hyperinflation, I meant hate crimes, starvation, war, education, religion... you know, "other issues". No matter the topic, for you it all comes back to the global bankers and the flipping gold standard. I'm worried about you, dawg!
-starvation, war, education, religion are not problems but are symptoms of a civilization running on the "faith of the government" (Are you impressed with how the US government is destroying the country )?
If sound money was running the war for instance, the war would have ended 5 years ago. Now look what you got, endless "paper money", endless war.
The foundation for a free , prosperous society with some kind of future has to have a foundation of sound money. Otherwise it ends.
All the perplexities, confusion and distress in America arise, not from defects in their Constitution or Confederation, not from want of honor or virtue, so much as from the downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit and circulation.
gay marriage would be a complete non-issue if the government did not provide incentives for married couples.
I am married and I do not support gay marriage, but I do feel gay couples are discriminated against because the government has overstepped its boundries by encrouching on a religous union, deeming it a government function and providing financial incentives to married couples.
Put government in its place to prevent discrimination. Get government out of marriage.
Marriage actually predates any religion or cult. That's a myth created by organized religion. But I agree, the government shouldn't be discriminating against gays or single people by rewarding straights benefits.
How can you not "agreeing with it?" It affects you in no way.
I'm pretty sure monogamous marriage is a christian invention. government shouldn't outlaw or marginalize any kind or number of consenting adult relationships, that's all christian nonsense...
I'm sorry but I always feel pity for folks who are steered towards Christianity by whatever kind of unknown they are afraid of.
I'm not going to get into the god discussion now, because I'm way pass that. Imagine being me. I was never baptized, no one in my circle of friends or family is religious. Which religion should I choose? Christianity? Why, because it's the most common religion where I live? That doesn't make it more true. So should I choose the religion I agree most with? Buddhism..?
Just because I agree with it more doesnt make it true either. For me there is not a single shred of evidence for any kind of god. I dont see religion do anything good either. It gives people hope, but that doesnt make it good hope can come from tangible sources too. Religion divides people, it gives reasons to hate, distrust and discriminate. Please know that there are thousands of religions in the world. How can you claim truth for yours?
It does take faith, but it is educated faith.I was only baptized a few months ago because I wanted to be certain of what I was doing, instead of being blindly guided.
There are thousands of religions, indeed.A favorite comment I heard was to someone practicing devil worship. They said"my god can move this candle across the table."The response then was"so can I,so what is great about that?"All religions divide and cause hate EXCEPT Christianity.Note:I consider the"interfaith"bickering non Christian.
"All religions divide and cause hate EXCEPT Christianity"
:D Are you serious? Please google "Christian Identity" and I'm just referring to them because they are bigger than the KKK.
How on earth is your faith educated by anything? And how can you even claim its different from any other religion? All religions are equally true, they have to be because there is not more evidence for any of them. Islam is just a peaceful as Christianity, it is just less liberated and still has more extremist
subgroups. Without liberalism for example women wouldn't be independent today, you would have EXACTLY the same gender separation and social conservatism

MrFoxispropaganda 1 year ago
Paul is not for "giving money" to the rich; he's for letting them KEEP the money that THEY EARNED. We still have progressive tax policies; wtf are you smoking? Increasing taxes on the rich IN NO WAY helps the middle class.
Edgehead10075 9 months ago
@MrFoxispropaganda Ron wants to get rid of the "Federal Departments". That's where corporate welfare comes from. They are where Foreign "Aid" comes from. They are where subsidies for coal, oil, etc... companies come from. Ron wants to end the World Policeman role for the U.S. much to the dismay of the Military Industrial Complex. Ron is against The WTO, NAFTA, etc... and promotes Fair Trade over so-called Free Trade...I think you are uninformed and deluded. Note: Fox hates Ron...wonder why?
peng1965a 6 months ago
@MrFoxispropaganda Part 2) All those Gov. Dept.s were not created to help you...or me. They were created to help well connected people leach money out of the Federal Budget. Ron wants to close down most of the 700 U.S. foreign military bases. We pay hundreds of billions in rent every year for those bases. Rons ideas of Fair Trade would get us back closer to where we were before the corporations took over. Go watch some of Rons personal videos on the issues.

0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
isn't that some kind of economic isolation?
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
The WTO and NAFTA are causing economic problems. Also remember that countries like Switzerland are able to remain neutral and they still have a great economic system. Neutral just means we don't have alliances, but who our companies do business with is completely different.
WTO and NAFTA are socialist systems, and socialism doesn't work, just look at the Soviet Union
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
stop the socialist name calling, it's silly!
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
Not calling YOU a socialist
Just because Switzerland might join the EU doesn't mean that they all of a sudden are no longer neutral. Socialism is when the government regulates trade and the economy. China is another socialist country that exists. However China is rising in economic power because it basically uses its workers as slaves. They don't have any of the benefits that people in the US and the EU do.
Being neutral is for political reasons, not economic reasons.
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
NATA DOES NOT EQUAL EU!
North American Freed Trade Agreement = NATA
EU = European Union
That completely destroyed the Mexican economy.
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Okay, I do know that the EU stands for European Union, I'm a citizen of it so I've heard that before. ;)
NAFTA is an effort to integrate the 3 economies of Canada, US and Mexico. The EU was and is motivated by the same!
NAFTA didn't invent outsourcing, it made it easier. And if you'd know just a little bit about RP you would know that he doesn't oppose that. He doesn't oppose global free-trade. Part of that global free-trade is the free-trade of labor. Full circle!
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
Making faces doesn't help your side. In fact it actually hurts it.
I know what I said, but remember that NAFTA opened up free trade in all of North America. Therefore, powerful American businesses over powered Canada and Mexico
And are you serious? RP is against outsourcing? Man dude you are watching the wrong shit, if you knew a little about RP you would know he's against outsourcing
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Are you trolling me? I said RP is not against outsourcing! It is you who brings up the outsourcing again and again, and links it to 'the evils of NAFTA' while I question how in RP's libertarian utopia this would be different at all? How exactly would Mexican labor unions be stronger in a free-trade-free-market world? How exactly would corporations outsource less, if they are controlled even less?
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
You don't question anything except? "What evidence?"
In a free market, companies can compete. Now let me ask you a question, why did the United States only start outsourcing when things like NAFTA started appearing?
Free-trade allows people to compete, whereas the WTO basically says who can trade with who.
In a free market all the corporations had to go through Mexico before going to other countries because they weren't held down by the law of the US anymore.
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
"why did the United States only start outsourcing when things like NAFTA started appearing?"
Because the NAFTA started a liberalization of trade between said three countries! AGAIN: Ron Paul is all for free trade between countries, in this free trade scenario there will ALSO NOT be laws to "hold down" companies in the US. All the WTO does is set limits, you apparently want limits if you don't want companies to outsource to other countries. You don't make sense!
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
Ron Paul is for free trade. However he's against our corporations from taking advantage of people. Imagine what happens when more businesses are allowed to start and allowed to start competing, these major corporations don't want competition. The more competition there is, the more big business will suffer.
You don't provide an argument. WTO says who can trade with who and for what. If a country wants to say its product is worth this much, the WTO comes out and says no it's worth this much
mymindisfree09 2 years ago

0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
Just one more detail: If Switzerland is - from you point of view I assume - pretty socialist and after you've just admitted that socialism can have a "great economic system" - where's you point for libertarianism?
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
How did you even get that?
Switzerland isn't socialist, they run themselves like a true Republic, in which they allow the market to run freely.
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
If you tell me the freakin' neoliberal WTO is socialist then surely Switzerland must be socialist too. You libertarians and right wingers seem to through the 'socialist' around rather easily. Of course Switzerland isn't socialist in the traditional sense, but if you consider the US to be socialist than Switzerland is socialist too! Switzerland only employs a different kind of democracy, in many other respects its absolutely comparable.

mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Well the WTO regulates who and what countries can trade. If you really want a free market system, then the corporations need to make decisions for themselves not what a government wants. Also, NAFTA is causing problems for all the economies in North America, especially Mexico. It allows corporations to outsource and take advantage of people. NAFTA allows corporations to take advantage of poorer countries. Like corporations that were once in Mexico outsourced to other countries.
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
You don't know at all how free trade works, do you?
"It allows corporations to outsource and take advantage of people"
Really? Is that your best shot? How exactly would the absence of NAFTA in the presence of free-trade limit companies in their outsourcing?
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
No, you don't know how free trade works.
You don't know how NAFTA works do you. NAFTA allows corporations in America to establish themselves in Mexico, then those same corporations can outsource to other countries.
So if big US corporations go to Mexico because they don't have to give the same benefits to Mexican workers as American workers then we lose jobs. While there, they put the Mexican corporations out of business and then outsource from Mexico to countries like India.
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Of course NAFTA does that, my question was how 'free-trade-free-markets' would change that!
We are not arguing about what NAFTA does, we are arguing about how it is socialist and primarily here how whatever it does would be different in a free-trade-free-market system.
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
so·cial·ism (sō'shə-lĭz'əm)
n.
Any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.
In a free-market system it allows businesses to compete within their own country. NAFTA opened the door for outsourcing to Mexico. Corporations originally couldn't outsource because there it was too big of a risk.
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
No it allows them to compete freely, GLOBALLY!!!
You are comparing government control on markets with outsourcing, you are doing this why?
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
No it allows them to take advantage of workers that don't have the benefits of the US.
You're right when all of our jobs go to China and India, they still count as American products. I forgot that.
Oh and I'm not comparing, just doing 2 arguments at the same time
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Yeah but you are using them in a contradicting fashion. Outsourcing will NOT be eliminated/reduced or anything in a RP scenario! With less governmental interaction (which RP wants) markets indeed will be more efficient, they will make more use of global markets and weaker positions in them. You have to choose, either you are for free-markets and for outsourcing or you are against free-markets (in the lib sense) and against excessive outsourcing. It doesn't make any sense otherwise!
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
Yes it will because it will close down the exporting to Mexico, that's where most of these companies go before going to countries like China.
If Mexico can start competing again it can improve its society, rather then having all their businesses shut down because of powerful American companies
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
close down the exporting to Mexico? exporting what? labor? No it won't. RP is for that, he is for free-trade between countries. How exactly is Mexico not competing right now and where the hell does China fit into all of this?
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
It allows Mexico to compete again.
Most jobs got outsourced to Mexico and then to China
"Such as countries like China" that's what I said. You keep on trying to change my words around to suit you. That's only what a coward does
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
:D
... I'm a coward. Ouw, now I've lost my face...

Dumb ass
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
I find Ron Paul's ideas rather insane like allowing unpasteurized milk for human consuming.
He tries to define every human events from a looking glass of his ideology and ends up with very impractical and at times very dangerous conclusions which leads him to promote solutions that are dead ludicrous.
UnsavoryMen 2 years ago
100% agreement!
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
First off Ron Paul was a physician. Do you know that the chemicals that they use are extremely dangerous? The hormones in pasteurized milk are actually dangerous. Some scientist actually believe these chemicals can cause cancer. But the FDA turns a blind eye because of the profits that are made.
He looks at human events the way they happen and from a perspective of our Constitution. I have no idea where the hell you think his ideas are dangerous because every single one is safe
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
For your info: Pasteurization process does not involve adding of any chemicals or hormones, it's ONLY A HEATING PROCESS perfected to kill vast majority of harmful HEAT SENSITIVE pathogenic micro-organisms.
Get your knowledge on Pasteurization process straighten up.
UnsavoryMen 2 years ago
Wow you are such an idiot. Of course pasteurized milk has hormones in it. Of course it needs to be heated but you have no idea what the real problem is. He's against putting harmful chemicals. Maybe you should learn the truth rather then sprouting BS
People like you are pathetic. You come out and slander RP on issues without providing any real facts. Pathetic. You say he has no support yet you have to disable your rating because you know what will happen. Get educated you idot
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
I dont wonder anymore why loons like you cant convince voters to vote for Ron Paul. As soon as someone disagrees with you guys based on long proven scientific facts you guys come down to name calling.
Narrow minded and mean spirited militant-like approach of you guys will make sure your candidate will have no influence whatsoever on debates on any issue.
Keep up with your mean spirited name calling narrow minded approach...way to go for you guys.
UnsavoryMen 2 years ago
This is coming from the guy who calls Ron Paul insane and then whines about being attacked?
"Get you knowledge on Pasteurization process straighten up"
that's not mean spirited? That's just sad
At least Ron Paul videos don't have to disable their video ratings. Way to make a false argument without any facts. What do you guys do? Slander Ron Paul non-stop then hide behind the most pathetic arguments you can make. Way to go
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Hey frog of Ron Paul's fish tank...you have been pretty silent these days. what is going on ?
Got any new insane ideas from Somali Libertarians ?
VoodooPolitics101 2 years ago
Sad!
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Of course the weakest dogs like you bark all over the internet because the Main Stream Media threw your ring leader into a dumpster .MSM gives your ring leader some face time when they feel they need some theatrical effects.
I was not the first to claim Somalia as a libertarian society. Your spiritual institution Mises Institute claims it. So I more of less come to believe Mises Institute is correct to say Somalia is a libertarian society. Zimbabwe is not only country to print money.
VoodooPolitics101 2 years ago
You are an idiot, Bark means attacking and insulting. That's all you've done. I present facts, though I do act like an ass sometimes, at least I have proof to back up my side.
I don't care about Mises Institute, guess what idiot I think you forget which one of us is the Libertarian here. Then again that seems to be all you can resort to.
Zimbabwe is not the only country to print money, but they are the prime example to what happens when a country prints too much money.
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Your ring leader takes orders from Mises Institute and he is on a mission to turn this nation into Somalia.
You take orders from your ring leader so I presume you are a street level operative of Mises Institute.
VoodooPolitics101 2 years ago
Wow all you can use is Somalia? How weak.
Do you have a swatzika tattoo?
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Nazi Germany.ohh well, to promote Neo-Nazi activities by Neo-Nazi sympathizers are one of the prime reasons why Neo-Nazis are actively supporting your ring leader, David Duke, Don Black, Randy Gray among the most prominent of these men.
When you talk about Nazi Germany next time, first look at your own back yard.
VoodooPolitics101 2 years ago
LOL
I don't care what the Neo-Nazis think all that shows is how weak of an argument you have. They at least know how an economy runs, they know that there is an economic crisis, and Ron Paul is the only one who has a workable solution. Promote Neo-Nazi activity what a load of crap! What are you talking about him being racist again.
Take the 1 little thing and try to make a big deal out of it! You really are pathetic
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Keep the Fed, dont let this Ring leader thug dictate
VoodooPolitics101 2 years ago
Keep the FED? LOL
1. the FED prints money out of thin air causing inflation
2. the FED is a private bank
3. the FED Bill was passed only with yea of 2 states
4. the Federal Reserve Act was passed over Christmas break with the majority of Congress absent
5. Thug? you're the one that doesn't want to give him a fair voice! Freedom of Speech doesn't count for people that don't agree with you?
6. the FED is the reason for our economic crisis. And you want to give them more POWER!?!
7. Nazi Germany?
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
You wrote in your last post, "2. the FED is a private bank"
If you think FED is a private bank, the Congress should have no business running it or try to dictate what it should do. Are you Barack Obama's 2nd incarnation trying to run every private enterprise ?
What is next Microsoft or HP or Wal-Mart ?
VoodooPolitics101 2 years ago
LOL
Shows exactly how much you know voodoo! The FED is run by a board of private bankers with 1 Federal worker that oversees it. He doesn't participate he just watches. Also Congress doesn't tell it what it should do. Congress just borrows money from it that they have to pay back with interest. So all our tax money goes back to the bankers. Plus I hate Obama cause he's another lying sack of crap who is working for Wall Street
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
You're the one that wants to give FED power over the government
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Why not tell your ring leader to be honest and his actual motives. Why not make it clear that your ring leader wants to run and dictate "private bank" hiding behind the powers of Congress.
Why not make it clear your ring leader wants become "mini-Barack Obama" . I might not like it but I will at least appreciate for his honesty.
VoodooPolitics101 2 years ago
LOL OMG you really are retarded aren't you!
Ron Paul supporters are very anti-Obama and the fact that you keep trying to hide behind a pathetic statement even though that's what YOU believe in
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Jealousy is human nature and I dont really fault your ring leader for his jealousy that Obama is running big private corporations. So your ring leader is gunning for even bigger prize, the FED.
Woow, all these big talks about the Constitution is only a smoke screen to carry out his actual motives. This is really disturbing.
I used to think, he is just a mentally screwed crap, now it seems it's just a big act to secure his deeply disturbing motives.
VoodooPolitics101 2 years ago
Wow Voodoo that's really what you have to resort to?
Ron Paul was the only politician in the entire race that had NO CORPORATE BACKING. You were the one that wants the bankers to control our government and our money. Sounds like tyranny to me and every other sound minded person in America.
Wow the guy who uses nothing but smokscreens tries to use a smokescreen statement to his advantage.
It really disturbs me to see how psychologically disabled you are. Twisting words to work for you
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Give up Voodoo or do you still want to keep getting your ass kicked?
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
That you Voodoo wanted the FED to control our government and for them to make all of our economic decisions without question. Sounds like you're more for a dictatorship. Let the bankers control the people rather then having the people control themselves. It makes me wonder who you really are working for?
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
You made it pretty clear what his actual motives are and I dont need any more justifications on how your ring leader secures his motives of the biggest power grab.
This is the biggest attempt at the biggest power grab by anyone in history. Other try to do it by winning presidential elections. Your ring leader wants to do it without winning one. Nice short-cut huh ?
VoodooPolitics101 2 years ago
Why don't you be honest, cause it's obvious you keep lying and changing your words in hopes of keeping up in the argument where it's very clear you don't have one
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Next time dont give me big lectures on the Constitution. Just be honest on what your ring leader wants. Now I see no reason to listen through that long winding road to power grab of running and dictating the money making machine. After all your ring leader still has that burning desire to become the president of the US. It's been proven that it takes 100s of millions of $ to win presidential elections. Money has come from somewhere right ?
FED will become his cash cow right ?
VoodooPolitics101 2 years ago
Wow anything to hide behind right Voodoo. Are you even trying anymore?
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
You wrote in your last post, "Wow anything to hide behind right Voodoo."
At least I dont hide behind the veil of the Constitution. At least I dont pretend to be a defender of the Constitution and use it for actual motives.
VoodooPolitics101 2 years ago
Yeah keep saying that voodoo cause all you're doing is showing me how pathetic you really are. This debate is done, over. I win.
I know you're going to crudely refute it, but that is going to do is prove me right even further.
Keep making up lies, that's all you can do
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
I dont even need to win anymore. You and your ring leader's motive has become pretty clear. I see absolutely no reason to win.
When it comes to the 'big act' of trying to show off as the defender of the Constitution frogs like you really are winners. I no longer address you craps as frogs. 'Snakes' or 'serpents' will be the more accurate description of you nasty people.
VoodooPolitics101 2 years ago
Ze Hail you slave of a Nazi
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Is it a surprise that snakes will hail and salute to your Neo-Nazi serpents like Don Black, David Duke and the company ?
Now fuck off and log off your youtube account.
VoodooPolitics101 2 years ago
You truly are a pathetic little sheep. At least I have support.
It's obvious that I am the only mature one here, and that I am the only one of us that has any dignity.
Have a good life being a slave.

Carlitos1010 2 years ago
It's clear who the only mature one here is voodoo. It is clear you are nothing more then a sorry mentally disturbed human being.
Turn everything around to keep hiding behind. That's all you can do
I win voodoo that much is clear. You don't have any argument whatsoever
mymindisfree09 2 years ago
Wow you really just showed me your true character. Nothing more but a cowardly weak minded person who can't think for himself. You have no argument but rather attack. Maybe you should watch IOUSA and learn what the REAL economist think. OH that's right you don't want to learn the truth do you?
mymindisfree09 2 years ago

Of course it is much easier to coerce people into giving up their dignity at state level.

Read the constitution for starts...
boots920 2 years ago
God boots, you are so obsessed with the fed aren't you. I meet you again and again and its always about the bloody gold standard and the fed... Aren't there other things that bother you?
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
Hey if the "Federal Reserve" wasn't in charge of the "World Reserve" currency I would observe the debacle like I observe Mugabe running Zimbabwe into the ground. I feel bad for the locals, and thank the Creator that he didn't place me in that country. The US has been printing up "Gold" for 35 years, the free-world looks to it for strength. What happens to value of the US dollar reflects directly on my standard of living. Civilization is built on the value of the US dollar.
boots920 2 years ago
No but my point was that you seem to be rather caught up in all this FED/Gold standard nonsense (which you impressively demonstrated yet again) while seemingly ignoring all other issues... and I didn't mean Zimbabwe's hyperinflation, I meant hate crimes, starvation, war, education, religion... you know, "other issues". No matter the topic, for you it all comes back to the global bankers and the flipping gold standard. I'm worried about you, dawg!
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
"other issues"
-starvation, war, education, religion are not problems but are symptoms of a civilization running on the "faith of the government" (Are you impressed with how the US government is destroying the country )?
If sound money was running the war for instance, the war would have ended 5 years ago. Now look what you got, endless "paper money", endless war.
boots920 2 years ago
"symptoms of a civilization running on the faith of the government"
So your idea is, get rid of government get rid of all problems?

0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
Did you get my other message?
mymindisfree09 2 years ago

God Bless!
Ayudria 2 years ago 2
Marriage actually predates any religion or cult. That's a myth created by organized religion. But I agree, the government shouldn't be discriminating against gays or single people by rewarding straights benefits.
How can you not "agreeing with it?" It affects you in no way.
Vote3rdParty 2 years ago
I'm pretty sure monogamous marriage is a christian invention. government shouldn't outlaw or marginalize any kind or number of consenting adult relationships, that's all christian nonsense...
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago 2
I always feel pitty for folks who are steered away from Christianity by the bad decisions of the faithful and faithless alike.
Christianity is simply about the love of God who lets us choose to be loved.
To many folks buy in to the deceptions that the old and new testament God are different, or that God is cruel and slaughters hundreds of thousands.
Just read the bible (I suggest the NIV translation for Americans) and learn what truth actually means.
Ayudria 2 years ago
I'm sorry but I always feel pity for folks who are steered towards Christianity by whatever kind of unknown they are afraid of.
I'm not going to get into the god discussion now, because I'm way pass that. Imagine being me. I was never baptized, no one in my circle of friends or family is religious. Which religion should I choose? Christianity? Why, because it's the most common religion where I live? That doesn't make it more true. So should I choose the religion I agree most with? Buddhism..?
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
Just because I agree with it more doesnt make it true either. For me there is not a single shred of evidence for any kind of god. I dont see religion do anything good either. It gives people hope, but that doesnt make it good hope can come from tangible sources too. Religion divides people, it gives reasons to hate, distrust and discriminate. Please know that there are thousands of religions in the world. How can you claim truth for yours?
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
It does take faith, but it is educated faith.I was only baptized a few months ago because I wanted to be certain of what I was doing, instead of being blindly guided.
There are thousands of religions, indeed.A favorite comment I heard was to someone practicing devil worship. They said"my god can move this candle across the table."The response then was"so can I,so what is great about that?"All religions divide and cause hate EXCEPT Christianity.Note:I consider the"interfaith"bickering non Christian.
Ayudria 2 years ago
"All religions divide and cause hate EXCEPT Christianity"
:D Are you serious? Please google "Christian Identity" and I'm just referring to them because they are bigger than the KKK.
How on earth is your faith educated by anything? And how can you even claim its different from any other religion? All religions are equally true, they have to be because there is not more evidence for any of them. Islam is just a peaceful as Christianity, it is just less liberated and still has more extremist
0800RelevantElephant 2 years ago
subgroups. Without liberalism for example women wouldn't be independent today, you would have EXACTLY the same gender separation and social conservatism
