Women from shore to shore say No More! No to the military build up on Guam!

you know i think its a good thing to have the military build up

@notnebe cause its gonna be good for the economy and guam is gonna be more popular which means more tourist and thats gonna be good for our economy cause we REALLY need it

@dammyousuck that's what a lot of people who support the build-up say. i think it is a short-sided solution with far too many negative consequences. in the long run, the ocean will suffer, the environment will suffer, the islands infrastructure. sure, economic benefits might benefit a few, mostly foreign and already rich, but there are NO guarantees that the quality of life will increase outside as well as inside the fence. DoD only gurantees that standard of living will decrease on guam.

Come one friends this is the hardest times of our lives and this will keep alot of people working, families being fed, roofs over our heads,bills being paid. It is so sad to stop all this. fight to protect the original places but not the areas where that has been used our ancestors areas but not the whole island.
