Not sure if he mentioned it, but change max number of connections to 6000 along with your max number of connected peers to 6000 in your preferences. DO NOT set max upload speed to anything but unlimited, upload speed will never slow down dl speed. also, at a 25mbps bandwidth speed, i usually get 2.2mb/s peak dl speed with this configuration, alot of this has to do with peers, so download tracker lists by googling "tracker list download 2011" and "2012"
