we are quite naive thinking that all other (if there are) life forms need the same environments as us to live, what's making us say no life could exist on gas planets, just because we couldn't doesn't mean anything else couldn't

The reason why they might not be able to come to Earth is that life on Mars may now be over, they might be primative like cavemen or they might have made contact with us (the government) but we dont know about it. Solar power works on Mars, where the sun is incredibly faint. Places like Boston or London or Amsterdam get sun exposure 100 times stronger than Mars, Boston looks like Ecuador compared to Mars, in terms of solar exposure.
The energy industry/phony politicians tell you Solar Power is "not practical" on Earth.
