  • why the fuck would you go to the trouble for that shit

  • If ICEs are older than IMUs, Why are old IMUs down in Train 100 to 150 and ICEs go from 151 to 158?

  • because the ICE's were transfered to Citytrain after the introduction of the tilt train in 98, thus getting numbered after the IM's

  • @qldmatt @fletcherhf73 - actually, the ICEs were always numbered 151 to 158. I would guess that this was done to leave up to 150 vacant for more EMUs, which only got as high as 88. But the SMUs started at 201, which left 100-150 available, so the IMUs used that block.

  • are the doors just like a house door?

  • very similar yes with controlled magnets to hold the door open

  • yep but with magnetic clips to hold them while there open

  • They have just been refurbished and there isnt to many units in the first place, there is also 1 unit out of action indefinably.

They are unreliable because they aren't doing the job they were designed for, these units were the tilt train before the tilt train and are now doing all stopper work. so they have alot of KM's under the belt . Still nothing beats them for comfort!

  • Best intercity trains on the tracks...

  • What platform was this?

  • Trains heading South/Up have to use platform number 1

  • To show the people who may not have seen an ICE train and maybe not Nambour.

  • what was the point of that vid?

  • How often do ICEs pass Nambour

  • Nambour is Inter City Express Central! 3 out of 4 services to/from Nambour are an ICE...if they make it.

  • Awesome video

  • I just love the ICE trains!
