I don't agree with Ron Paul on his views toward gay marriage because i believe the Federal Government should advocate equality for ALL(including gays). However, even if he doesn't like it, he is for the American people deciding for themselves, and i kind of think that that is the best solution for now. Regardless, i completely agree with all the much more important things he talked about, and he has my vote.

I have no problem with gays getting a marriage license & then finding someone to marry them in a civil ceremony, church, etc. The problem lies with their agenda of forcing people who disagree with them on moral, biological, religious grounds, etc. Examples: A Christian photographer & a Christian wedding cake maker were charged after saying because of their beliefs they should find someone else to fulfill their requests. Why is Gov't involved if church & state are separate?

Frankly, religions (Of all faiths) & non-believers who disagree with this lifestyle are forced into a corner & told you have to accept their opinion or face the consequences. Apply that same method to ALL of your dislikes in life & see where that will take you. Right into a very dark place eventually where the tolerance for individual thought is no longer allowed. I have been a Ron Paul supporter since the late 80's and its painfully obvious how well The Establishment has brainwashed so many people.

The problem isn’t just those who have allowed themselves to be governed by fear and ruled with envy but those who have forgotten the real definition of freedom.

Freedom means freedom FROM government and the essence of that freedom is the proper LIMITATION of government, not the EXCESS of it.

the interview was ok. there were several times when RP's responses were a bit circumstantial, but i think it's because these issues are all related and he tries to explain it all at once. RP's arguments about what the problems and possible solutions are are so reasonable. even if someone did not agree, how can anyone automatically dismiss them?
