No, typical Staten Island South Shore Italian trash. Notice how these guys look like they belong on the Jersey Shore? Garbage. I was on the 1:30 boat and the overall atmosphere I'd say was good spirits. There were people whooping and cheering getting on and off the boat, but during the ride over it was calm. Usually everyone getting on the ferry has already been commuting for a while so the vast majority of people on the ferry just relax. Never seen violence on the ferry.

Nah, they always have cops on the S.I. Ferry usually four cops for each floor of the ferry plus a number of DOT guys walking the decks. I was there New Years this year. The ferry is considered a high value target for terrorism. There were alot of cops there New Years. Pretty stupid to start something on there and not think you were going to end up in cuffs.
