If you had your facts straight and really knew your hood you would know that north of 107th is WEST Beverly South of 107th is West MORGAN PARK. The Actual Prestigious (and I use that term loosely) Beverly neighborhood boundaries are East of Western and north of 107th. So in actuallity all of those lame bars are in West Morgan Park/West Beverly.
Hyde park is GHETTO supreme. What, because the president is from there it isn't ghetto? Englewood residents stroll around in utter robbery and burglary bliss in that neighborhood, get a clue.
Easy garvs! Please read the comment. It is not one of the original Irish hoods. That would be Bridgeport. There are a lot of older Irish hoods like Englewood or Canaryville. When they were building St. Barnabas a cross was burnt by the W.A.S.P.'s living in Beverly/ Morgan Park. This is not the origanal Irish hood. I live here too. If Beverly was built by the Irish then why are there so many non Catholic churches? Also I finished my comment by saying " But one of the last left."
realy because you think you know i live in beverly and all of my grandparents are from ireland with most of my cosins still living in the area. This area is still irish 75 out of the 80 peolple in my grammer school graduating class 07 from a local school only block from cork and kerry. so why don't you get you facts straight before you say something im sick of people hearing southside of chicago and think ghetto beverly is still white.
