  • BRAVO!

  • i liked johny cashs version, but this is very soothing for the ears.

  • I love it! I'm going to drive my boyfriend crazy listening to this :)

  • Great : ) putting it as my ring-tone..jk

  • This rendition grates on the ears and is an attempt by the choirmaster to show that by speeding up things that they sound more with it. I think it sounds like cats shrieking on a hot tin roof. Musical ...it is not.....not for the cognoscenti. In a word it is the "Crucifixion" of what was written as a gentle and meaningful song. One out of ten......and that is being generous!

  • im 9 and my choir does better than that! no offense though. your still good

  • It is only good. I think there are better versions, Because of that:

    4 Starts

  • WAY too fast.

  • verry good

  • Great performance, i think i lil to fast, maybe im used to the spanish version, still it was good.

  • too quiet!

    move on

  • @6juli6

    i thought it was a picture! :p

  • It was really good, but please correct me if I'm wrong... Did they say the "ox and ass kept time?" If I'm not mistaken, it is "the ox and lamb kept time," right? Or did I miss it? Just asking...

  • The correct words are the 'ox and ass kept time' but some people don't like to say ass (haha) so sometimes the words evolve to suit peoples taste and the environment!!

  • Actually, the original Katherine K. Davis lyrics were "ox and lamb kept time". "The ox and ass kept time" is a variation recorded by the The Trapp Family Singers. This choir must be using that version.

  • Its supposed to be "ox and lamb".

  • Says you. Whatever the words are the choir is stunning & wonderful no matter what you say!

  • It's just one of those lines that gets changed from place to place depending on tastes. I would imagine the original lyrics written did say "ox and ass" which has a bit of a ring to it musically, but can sound vulgar out of context.

  • oh god, I love this... the quick and snappy, high-pitched singing is like an angel choir to me, THANKS

  • Please, could anyone send my the partiture for choir of this song, please? Let me know how you'll send it (be e-mail)! Congratulations for the performance!

  • Agree that it is a bit too fast, and not my favorite (which has ALWAYS been the Harry Simeone Chorale original recording), but their voices are lovely...

It would have been even better at a slower pace....

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • too fast.

  • a little too fast but other than that its good

  • godd job, I wish there were a few deeper voices singing though, i suppose this is a down side to an all girls choir

  • What angels are left in heaven? they are all here. Wonderful many thanks, my skin is tingling and hairs on my neck stood on end.

  • amazing!!

  • I love their dresses! And voices of course!

  • Way too much vibrato for a girl's choir.

  • i agree with u

  • Impresionante el color!!... bellisimo!
