I think they made him look like the young autobot in the first two to show us that no matter how old you are. You always have something to offer. Something that will benefit others.

I agree with theLinkinParkFreak1, Hans Zimmer is present through out. Personally i believe that Hans Zimmer had a big part in the arrival to earth music melody since every other epic song was made by Hans Zimmer, but Madagascar, Crimson Sky, and many other Zimmer pieces are present throughout transformers. This is in no way a diss against Steve, Steve had a great musical talent that he used to put these melodies together into one big masterpiece.

but....I think you can hear it pretty much out that Steve was a "student" of Hans Zimmer and they work together in a company, because the songs from transformers in some places very similar to Pirates of the Caribbean.
