My binding looks so good!!! I am an intermediate quilter and recently got a long arm machine. My actual quilting has been nice but my binding was has been an eyesore. The fabric always seemed to get away from me no matter how many pins I used. I even tried basting spray on my last quilt to hold the material but all I managed to do was glue binding to my knee! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! My Christmas gifts are going to look so nice.
This series of videos on bindings is wonderful - what perfect bindings she gets this way!!!! Very clear, very thorough, good filming. I just want to know now where to get the fine tip applicator for the glue bottle!
Thank you so much for putting this video on the internet for us to access whenever we need it - and boy did I need it. I am so proud of my second quilt (the first was a disaster) and now I can finish it knowing that it will be done properly. Thanks for your help.\
Wonderful videos - I've made the binding using this method and can hardly wait to put it on the quilt. BUT!! Where can you get that nice tip for the glue bottle? Mine isn't like that and I had glue everywhere..
This is the first set of videos that I've seen that is clear enough for even a beginner to understand! Thanks for taking the time to make them! Normally, I hate finishing my quilts because I have so much trouble with the binding. I can't wait to try this technique. Thanks!!
You make it look so easy that one tends to forget that you have been doing it this way for a long time! Can not wait to try it this way myself though!
I LOVE Sharon's videos. She is very clear and precise without trying to impress you with her knowledge. She also teaches in such a way that pro and beginner alike will understand. I have been a fan for many years now.
I use the Sharon Schamber videos for all my quilting. I have had really good results doing the binding using her technique. I consider myself still a beginner but using these videos really gives a wonderful finish to the quilts. I also go to her website and watch all of her other videos including the pressing board.
Thank you so much Sharon - very clear instructions on binding a quilt - and an added bonus was your demonstration of the ladder stitch - can hardly wait to try both. Really appreciate all of the free lessons on your web site and on YouTube - can't afford to join your network at this time so these videos really help.
Sincere thanks for teaching this method. I will get the supplies I need and use this process on the very next quilt. How awesome to know the right way to do such an important step to have the best result possible.
Great instructional videos! Just finished a quilt and used your technique for the binding. What a difference your method has made. The best binding i have ever done. Thank you!!!!
I'm new to quilting and I have been looking everywhere for clear instruction for mitering the corners. Thank you Sharon, I have learned so much from your videos
I watched all 3 videos and have never seen such a clear explanation of the very best technique I have ever seen on joining and applying binding. I will probably join your network as a result, and I will be using your techniques!
Watched all three video's. They were so informative I would feel guilty not to post a postive comment. I will be using this method for all my bindings. Thank you, Sharon.
Sharon, I learned so much from this 3 part series. Your teaching is so clear and easy to follow. I can't wait to try your binding method on my next quilt.
Excellent, thorough and easy to follow. Thanks for sharing. My daughter and I will use this technique on her first quilt. I wonder where you get the tiny tip for the elmer's glue bottle?
I used Sharon's binding technique for my very first quilt. It was tedious but well worth the perfection that followed. The video is so detailed and so easy to follow and it makes a very important step in quilt finishing a snap. I am so happy to have found this video just in time for my first quilt. Her website is great also!!! Thank You Sharon for helping all of us quilters!!
Now I have to run out and buy glue! This looks like something I can do to make great bindings. The part of quilting I always hated. Also, doing the ironing to flatten and make the binding fit nicely.
Thank You Sharon for sharing your expertise with the quilting world. Your work is superior! I can't believe that white school glue makes it such a simple task to being so precise. Thank you. Thank you
Sharon, Binding has never been something I looked forward to when making my quilts. Your technique has made this process easy and fun. Thank you for sharing your gift of teaching!
I love this technique and can't wait to try it. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Your directions are so easy to follow!

Fantastic you have made it soooo clear thank you.
I have one Query do I assume you must measure each side first and mark the end point of each end to ensure the quilt is square?
