Ok I have a big problem..... Whenever I fall on my board my ankles get ripped out of the boots can anyone tell me why that is, is it the boots they are open toe and I have a black widow board so they could just be cheap. I want to get good at wakeboarding but it fucks up my ankles so bad when they get ripped out when I fall that it makes me not even want to it anymore...... PLEASE HELP ANYONE!!!!!!!

has more to do with the ballast weight and the hull shape then the speed. Speed decides how far back the peak of the wake is, slower=closer, faster=farther.

Take em off. Fins are only there to catch you when you do something wrong. You should be using the edge of the boards to edge and turn.
