This makes me want to sign up for sealed deck tourney's. But wuts with all the bad comments about the deck building? Are there better video's that show how to build decks in this format or that show how to draft? I'd love to know.

Chapin, surprisingly, knows very little about limited. I mean, I bet they lost 2 rounds in a row with that deck. But when Chapin is right about constructed, my God is he right(e.g. CRUEL ULTIMATUM).

Esper charm is pretty ridiculous in multiples. I mind twisted this one dude in a draft, going EoT Esper charm u for 2 cards. My turn, main phase Esper charm u for the other two.

Hey Evin Big fan. Love ur vids, wish there was one every day. Just a question, are u shore that "dudes" are not a problem, i mean i had a game against Kithkins and boy did it drag out. Life gain was hard to deal with and the creatures u listed relied a lot on cryptic command to swing in for the kill. Grixis Ulty also did not do a lot. Got to admit thou the 5 damage from Grixis Ulty was more than welcom. Plz reply, thanks.

Yes, the pre-release system is awful. Also, I wish Pat Chapin and Phil Cape would stop being on this show. Phil isn't as phenomenal of a player as this show makes him out to be. He probably just happened to be up at RIW when they filmed this.

I played at RIW once back when Time Spiral/Ravnica was standard and I've never played with a bigger group of douchebags in my entire life. After that one time I never went back. If I do play in Detroit again it'll be at pandemonium. Other than that I'm staying in Lansing and playing at Fortress and Evo.

this usually works for me in 40-card decks and shards really supports that:

- 20 mana sources

- low removal spells and other

- huge creatures

Good show, I've recently been thinking about why wizards brought back cycling especially on cards like Yoked Plowbeast and have come to the conclusion that's it's for Sedris, the Traitor King's Unearth ability. That plus with it being a Mythic it's a good way for them to jack up the price.

I have to admit that I am really enjoying the longer Magic Show as well as the Pat Chapic side hour. I also really like how they went through and did a sealed deck walk through. Good job isn't really the correct words to describe what your doing. It's just an all around good thing and I love to watch this show every week! Drool for it like I do on any given preview night around 11.

I just feel that after playing so many games of Alara standard that QnT is the deck to beat. If your deck can't beat it then I'd start again. On the other hand, losing to faeries or rdw doesn't seem to be as big a deal, you could still make T8.

I found that even though mono red lost so much, they still have one key advantage in my opinion and that is mana stability. Since most of the 5 color decks spend the first 2 turns playing tapped lands, they lose the ability to respond to early plays made by mono color decks.

i love the deck evan, it is nice, id go with 10 vivids, it works well for me but i dont know, you the one who play tests with it, and i was thinkn, why dont you just play 4 fulmiator mage, its insane. i knew the new format would be a non basic land thing and thats why the f mage is a beast and i couldnt thnk of a better way to make him better except using mkaeshift mannequin w/ reveillark so you can do him over and over again, maybe some one could construct something like that, the mana is there

Ser, you need a much better mana base, I'm sorry to say, the 12 vivids leave you at the mercy of drawing a reflecting pool or just falling on your face. I don't know what I'd use, but I know that having half your manabase come into play tapped isn't a good thing. Don't say nobody warned ya.
