We Finns? umm.. no we are not. We just happen to have a population of 5,3 million. (compared to your over 305 million it should not be hard to understand what kind of difference in resources we are talking about) Also- our social security, health care and educational system are of a top class, as well as the HDI of Finland. If you actually had any knowledge what so ever of the actual poverty rates, you would know that percentagely you have more poverty than us. Such ignorance :< quite sad really

Finland has less poverty but not because Finland is doing something the US is somehow failing to do. Finland simply lacks the level of diversity that characterizes US demographics. If Finland had our broad demographic profile then Finland would be in a similar situation. Its like the low test scores we have in America; it's not so much that American's suck as it is that we have a less homogenous population with far more people on either extreme of the bell-curve.
